Honey, not tonight I have a headache.....

I dont know how many of you suffer from miagarines but I do. I get one atleast once a week if not more. Some of them make me sick.

I have tried eveything under the sun to get rid of them. All kinds of medications. One thing I have found that does work is having sex. Sex releives the tension. It is very relaxing as well. Not to mention it feels great.

What are some of your methods that you have tried? Does sex work for you?

you are lucky that Advil still works for you. I am onto stronger meds that anything over the counter.

I can understand about sex making you naseauted, I have experienced that myself but the over all census is that sex works for me in releasing the pressure.

Good luck with your miagraines....

Welcome to my blog as well.

Sometimes caffine in the morning helps. The other big thing to do is get your neck and back aligned by a Chiropractor.

But great and regular sex is also key. Sounds like you need a little more...

Migraines... & Sex...

I have never had a migraine, however, I can only imagine how painful it is. And sex with you I bet is amazing. That smile, if it matches the rest of you, WOW!! Than I could believe SEX with you would relieve any headache I might ever have.

Hello again. I've been kinda braindead for awhile.

I've been recommended a couple chiropractors in Rochester. I can get you the info.

Got migraines for many years, inherited from my mother. Tried prescription medicines but tylenol and a cold cloth worked best if caught early. After years of avoiding all the triggers, they have gone away almost completely. I don't know if sex helped, it seemed to, but mostly migraines got me very horny. It was wild because I could hardly see and felt disassociated from my body, yet the sex was good. I would always want to sleep afterwards, keeping full body contact with my mate. Woke up without migraine. Have two good chiropractors in Fairport area I can recommend. Your spine is not necessarily connected to migraines though. Two kinds of migraines, constricted blood vessels and dilated blood vessels, needless to say, the wrong medicine makes it worse because they are opposite blood flow to brain problems. Hope you feel better. Highly tactile sex is good for migraines, in my opinion. Peace, Love, & Sex

Hi Mar You live somewhat west of Rochester (based on the AdultFriendFinder Map); there are plenty of Chiropractors in upstate. And if you need referrals, New York Chiropractic College is in Seneca Falls, roughly 75 minutes from you. I know that they run a clinic in Buffalo, and may well run one in Rochester too.

Good luck

Thank you for that information. I have tried every med under the sun and they are not working. I try to avoid all triggers as well but I am allergic to milk, eggs, soy, and wheat so that cuts out a lot of foods. I can avoid the wine and soy sauce and stuff like that but most of the time I cant avoid it all. Plus, I am allergic to all the weed, grass, trees, pollan etc in this state. I just have a fun time with them.

What are your triggers?

I have never heard of that company. Sounds interesting. I will have to check it out.

Thank you

Well, Babe, I can't take MSG, almonds, walnuts, chlorine for more than 30 minutes a day, bright sun, stress and exercising to the point of exhaustion. I'm allergic to milk but that doesn't cause a migraine. Perhaps we can meet and explore more positive subjects. Think about it. I'd love to "mount" a preemptive strike on your next would-be headache. lol & ciao bella

WOW you are allergic to milk. So am I. Along with eggs. I am also allergic to all the weeds, grass, trees, and pollen in this state. I am also sligtly alleric to wheat and soy. You want to talk about avoiding all kids of things. I have to watch what I eat. I have to watch myself outside. I have to watch everyhing.

Milk and eggs give me miagraines along with so many things that I eat. Ithink stress affects us all.

I feel your pain and frustration. I am slightly allergic to eggs and tomatoes as well. The wagweed, grass and pollen give me and my youngest son some problems, especially when I or a neighbor mow--- and certain seasons, the maple pollen for instance. You know that Rochester is one of the worst areas in the nation for airborne allergens. And I often wonder about the pollutants in the air & water here too because of the decades of chemical industry: Kodak, Xerox,Gleason, B&L. Living is hazardous to your health! Living in Rochester may be pushing it too far.

Endeavor to:
Start every day with a full-array love smoothie: combine in a blender sex, laughter, bananas, blueberries, fresh coconut milk, strawberries, a little vanilla soy milk or rice milk(optional), a little coconut meat (to taste and texture), honey (dark is better, buckwheat is best, but taste is the important thing), and a little crushed ice (to temperature, depending on season and taste). In your case no soy milk*, you know it has been linked to thyroid problems and gender anomalies in developing hormone systems(and I suspect some effect on adults as well)such as early onset puberty in females and since it's used as an estrogen mimic in menopausal women so how good can that be for boys, but otherwise all ingredients are "more the merrier." And research shows prolong life, support health**, and imbue happiness.
Follow it up with excersize you are passionate about, a breakfast you adore, at least a half an hour engaged in a hobby you are passionate about, and work you love. Obviously, you have to start your day early. Use your imagination to see which you can combine. After work, the sky's the limit!
A five hug per day minimum is good. An hour of French kissing once a week is good. Balance on one foot every day, good for your brain. Jump up and down and stomp your feet, good for your bones. Talk to at least one of your intimate friends per day, good for everything and everybody.
And, yeah, I wish I could have yesterday as a do-over. Never live a day you don't wish you could re-live even better.

I agree with that one. The air quality in Rochester is really bad. I do think that Germany is worse though. When I was in Germany the air was soooo bad that I got an ulcer on my eye. I could not wear contacts for a year because of it. It was horrible. They had to scrap my eye. That hurt like crazy.
Sorry I am babbling....

I LOVE your idea of a full day. Sign me up...LOL

I do not drink soy milk though that gives me a miagraine as well. Not to mention I would NOT want all those side effects you just mentioned. I love the five hug per day minimum. The french kissing I would like an hour a day but I dont get it. How about increasing that to two hours a week and I would be good....

TM, How long were you in Germany and which parts? I've travelled to Germany a few times, most notably to East Berlin just after the wall came down in 1989, but mostly Bavaria. Always had a great time. But of European countries, Italy, Greece, Ireland and Hungary are my favorites. Don't remember air quality being bad, but I am notorious for not noticing anything bad when I travel. I love to travel. Especially by train. Next to writing fiction, photography and swimming, travelling is way up there for me. My biggest problem was always falling in love with foreign girls. Just a romantic at heart, I guess. I'm with you on the French kissing...don't know why I only said one hour per week; per day is more like it. I probably couldn't bring myself to hope for that much. kissing is one of the most wonderful sensual things in the world to me. Right up there with foreplay. Most women like kissing, in my experience, but few as much as I do. The great thing about it is you can do it anywhere. Under the covers, in the park, on the train, in a tree, on the sand, under an umbrella in the rain, under the rain in the rain, on a boat, in the surf, in the ocean, in a lake, in a theatre, on a ferris wheel at the top at the bottom and anywhere in between, on a merry-go-round, on the floor, in a big chair, on a table, on a plane, on a horse, in a carriage, on a swing, in a hamock...anyway, a lot of places. And like hugs and laughter it is very good for you, medicinal even. I wish more people would spend more time doing the things that are really good for them. We'd be a happier planet. Like Quaoar. Too small to think size matters, and no humans to be negative with. Well, I've rambled too much, but one more thing. Talking to a close friend everyday is really good for you. I can't manage it, but I know I'd be happier. I have a lot of friends, but most of them are scattered around the country and a few around the world. Some of them are my sisters and brothers, and one is my mother. Most of them are two or three thousand miles away. I hope someday my sons are among my closest friends. Of my three closest friends, two are women, and one is a man who I can talk for hours with, even sometimes having what we refer to as "content-free" conversations, kind of like a great movie without a plot. Just re-connecting...I couldn't tell you afterwards exactly what we talked about. O.>
