Another weekend in Paradise

Three weeks is a long time to not see your spouse, but my biker finally came home this weekend and we had a GREAT weekend at that.

Friday night we got together for dinner and drinks at Jim and Karen's and then later meandered over to Chatters for a lively crowd there. Seems some women can sure stir things up and create a bad situation in a hurry. One guy ended up with his shirt torn completly off and another guy ended up with a bloody face and a torn shirt. Thank goodness they were not part of our group. We stayed at our table and kept our nose out of it.

Met some great new people. Fronjee and his wife. Great singer too! I hope to be able to sing a duet with him next time.

Saturday we all got up early and met over at a friends house to load up a huge organ that they were giving away. Widwest's went and got donuts and we had donuts after we unloaded this huge thing in my garage. Guess that is why we had a three car garage built. LOL

Later that afternoon, widwest's and us went to Midwest to talk to the bar owner about possible having our A F F Halloween party. The owner there was VERY excited about and can't wait to help decorate and get things ready. We have lots of stuff planned for this event including cash prizes, etc.

Then we drove on to Gillette, grabbed a bite to eat and then went to the M&G at the Towers. Thought we had the wrong place when we got there because no one was there. However, the rest of them finally showed up. It was a great time. Some of us danced and others enjoyed good conversation. The air conditioning was out and it got a wee bit hot in there but we still enjoyed it. There were a few un-called for remarks directed at friends of mine that I think were unnecessary. I guess some people think they are being cute or something. Soon they will realize that saying those immature things, will someday come back and kick them in the butt.

Today we were all invited to a BBQ at friends house so we went and had a good time there too.

It's nice to have such good friends. Can't wait for Sturgis. I think many of us will have a year to remember.

Until laters...

It was a great weekend wasn't it? From the singing on Friday night to the moving of a big organ to the trip to Wendy's and the meet and greet in Gillette and the barbecue the next day. Good friends are hard to come by and when you have then it is even more special. Really glad that we have you 2 to call friends. Have a great time in Sturgis. We will miss you and be safe.
