Im writting this blog just to see if anyone else has noticed this too. Also to clarify this before I go on I AM NOT RACIST. Do you notice that as soon as a white woman goes missing, it is all over the t.v. newspapers, e.t.c.? What about the black woman that go missing? What about the black children go missing? Don't they matter? Occasinally I'll open the newspaper and see a tiny little column at the end of the page that says a black woman or child has gone missing. Whats with that. It really pisses me off. Also it's always a black man shooting black, white and other nationalities. Why do they never show a white man shooting anyone? We all know it happens, so then why arn't they all over t.v. and in the newspapers??? I know this is a really touchy subject, but I mean Im with a white man when we have another baby that baby is not going to be completly white so does that mean the media is not going to make a big deal out of it if my child ever goes missing? Because my child is not white??

hi tease ... say, u asked for reaction ....so will give mine, after paying attention to this issue for a very long time ..... just for example, 10 % of US is black ...yet FAR more than 10% of those carried on tv are black girls... close to 25% since we started keeping track..... certainly majority will be white as whites make up majority of population. Recently, there were 2 black ladies on all the time .. at the same time ... then, when bodies were found media coverage ended as it does for all.

I have MANY beefs with the media as unfair and stupid (hate em in fact in many ways) .. but, our observation is that blacks are getting plenty of coverage in the "missing girls" area. I do feel blacks get an unfair shake in MANY ways, but not this way
lilThat's our take.
