Wildlife

This post has nothing to do with sex, just wanted to share an experience I had today.

Walking up the hill behind where I live (in a small regional town in New South Wales, Australia). It is all bush and has lots of wild life living in it.

While walking up the hill I came across a wombat hole that looked like it was in use. Lots of tracks about and fresh dirt and scratchings.

Continuing up the hill I came across the hole's owner! (See icon of this post). It was sunning itself and was quite unconcerned, letting me get quite close and take photos.

They are a small, but massive animal. Massive in that they appear (and are) just solid muscle and thick fur.

It was a magical experience, one that I will not be forgetting.

Wow!! I bet that was really neat to watch the little wombat. I wouldn't be forgetting that for a long time either!!

Thanks for the comment, made me feel more validated. I sometime get philosophical in the middle of the night.

I'll be reading more of yours!

Thanks fat_bottom_girl, glad you like us both! There is plenty of wild life around here, but not enough of a wild life if you know what I mean! (well too much of a good thing and all that). The price I pay for living in the country...

Thank you jemma. Glad that I could give you some solace. I will have to sit down and do some more writing! I am busy painting at the moment, having just gotten back from overseas, so haven't had a lot of time on my hands

Hopefully soon
