Serenity...at last

The turning point in my life has begun. (Again...)

Now at this point in time...

I have a new job with no worrisome burdens to take home with me each night. I have a finally clean, tidy apartment with endless 70's music, a VCR, a very interesting colorful bubble lamp, with a fabulous riverside view and also plenty of candles and incense. I have a beautiful five-speed car that I LOVE to DRIVE. I have a pet who loves me and whom I love to cuddle with. I have many people who love me and always are on hand to help me when I am in need. I have a wonderful exciting lover whom I can get together with for various adventures during those all-important "let's-escape-from-the-world-awhile" recreation times. (Still got the bite marks from the weekend to prove it...)

Okay enough now. Ahem.

In all seriousnes...I also have these more important things in my world: a mother who loves me deeply, and the freedom to live my life in any which way I please. Also I have my talents and my gifts still strong to share with the community in which I live, and make a profit from these things as well so I may help others who might need me.

When life gets me down, I always try to count my blessings. After all, things could always be a million times worse. And isn't it true, that it is a good thing we shouldn't always be given what we want, but that we are always given what we need???

Pardon my deep various ramblings of the evening...

I enjoyed you rambling! God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen!
