When Does it become "More"?

I recently had the pleasure to meet anew person. He is shorter than I am but that didn't matter to me, he totally hit all the right buttons, if you know what I mean. Anyway, it was casual for a while then we were at a social gethering together with another couple and he started flirting with the other girl there. Now I am the first one to jump right in to the pool of orgy but with this particular girl, I was not cool with it. I had to leave. i guess my heart was wrapped around him tighter than I thought. Anyway we worked it out, all is cool and back to "normal" LOL. But when does it become "More"? When do you find yourself thinking about your toy or plaything more than your should or in a way that you shouldn't. Like you know it's just sex and there's other people involved, but when its just you two, it's something else. Connecting, intimate. I suppose it's just what we have to figure out in the Poly lifestyle. I mean just cuz you 'share', does it mean you don't 'care'?

In my opinion women, well most women become very connected to their partner whether its a fuck buddy/FWBs or not. I play with couples and singles and for me there is a deeper connection with the singles than there is with the couples. I think with men, well some men they can detatch themselves much more easily than women can. Thereby not connecting themselves in a way that described you became with your friend. I also think that if a man is out to just have a fuck buddy then most do just that and can keep it at a FWBS level even if its over a long period of time and he is with the women several times. But with women I believe that the connection becomes deeper and more attached.

This is just an opinion and my experience.

I was just having this conversation two days ago.

We look for intimacy and avoid love and they are tough to separate, not impossible, but tough.

Good Luck!
