BLOG ON! *** Chapter 55

It was Thursday evening and Albert had just left his office when his cell phone rang. He opened his Motorola Razor flip phone and noted that Joey Patino was calling from his cell phone. The sun was setting in the west as Albert approached his black BMW in the parking garage.

"Yeah, Joey! Glad you called!" Albert opened the phone conversation.

"How sa ya' doin', Albert?" Joey replied in his thick Brooklyn/Italian accent.

"I've got it all a set up, Albert! Don't na ya' worry! Hear?" Joey continued.

"Sammy is ready to do a the job when we give a the word!" Joey referred to Sammy 'The Bull' Belfiore, one of his people. Sammy worked in Joey's adult entertainment business, but he also did 'special jobs' for Joey.

"Look, Joey, I got Alan coming out for a ride on my yacht this Saturday morning." Albert informed Joey.

"Perfect! Accidents happen sometimes while boating!" Joey caught on real quick.

"What time will a he get a there?" Joey asked.

"About 10:30 am. I'll be there at 9:30 am." Albert went on to explain.

"I'll a contact Sammy and give him a the directions. You're boat, itsa still at the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor, right?" Joey confirmed the location. He had gone out for day cruises on 'The ComputerGeek' with Albert several times the previous summer.

"That's right, Joey. You still remember how to get there?" Albert asked.

"I sure do. Sammy will be there at 9:30 am this Saturday. He'll know what to do!" Joey reassured Albert that everything would be taken care of.

"Well, I got a dinner meeting a tonight, Albert! I gotta go now!" Joey explained that he needed to cut the conversation short.

"Bye, Joey. And thanks for your help!" Albert was relieved that the Alan Sabre problem would soon be resolved.

Albert felt like he could use a couple strong drinks. One of his favorite cocktail lounges was on the way to his condo. He spotted a parking spot in front of the 'The Blue Marlin' and maneuvered his 745i into a parking space between a silver Mercedes E500 and an indigo blue Jaguar XJR.

Sabre will sleep with the fishes in Monterrey Bay! Isn't that interesting about Jimmy Hoffa? His daughter is a federal judge in St. Louis.

Monterrey Bay is a great place to end... I wonder if after all these years they will find Hoffa? That has always been such a mystery.

I've visited the Monterrey Acquarium, and I recall that Monterrey Bay is very deep. We'll tie a couple concrete blocks to him when we dump him overboard. The sharks will have him before he hits bottom! This Detective Washington is very thorough though. Am I overlooking something? We'll have to dispose of his Mustang in the harbor parking lot. We can send to a chop shop out east I suppose. We need to eliminate all connections to Albert Anderson.
