Why is everything so good....so sticky?

So, I'm really convinced that Reynolds’ Release aluminum foil has to be the best invention since the internal combustion engine.

However, what the Hell is up with the packaging? Did Reynolds coat the cardboard box with Teflon as well before gluing it together??? As soon as I open the box, it falls apart. I can't tear off a sheet to put under a fuggin' frozen pizza without having the damned box fall apart!

I mean the simple fact that aluminum foil, plastic wrap, parchment paper, and wax paper are still delivered in square cardboard tubes boggles my mind. Is that the latest in 19th century technology, or what? Can’t they come up with a better delivery method? Even Folgers Coffee now comes in a convenient plastic container, instead of a tin can-circa 1813!

But it is comforting to have somethings that never change...Like this, toilet paper, toothpaste, soap etc. Most of them have been in the same packaging for years..
