Compliments

I had a group member of Big Tit Lovers say that I don't compliments well..... this is something that I've heard dozens of times during my adult life.

Of course, like most things, it goes back to childhood. I was a good "B" student but of course both my father and sister were straight 'A' Valedictorian students so whatever I did wasn't good enough.

I was a varsity tennis player all through high school. Wanna guess how many matches my parents came to see?

When I won a title at regionals held in our home town, were they there? Nope. Did I get a congratulations? Nope. Just a "better get ready for state"....

So my whole childhood was spent dealing with "you can do better" no matter what the situation was.

It makes it hard to know how to react when a compliment is given if you've never been given the chance to learn.

But that's my pity trip for the day..... sorry about that.

Awww well I can relate to what your saying I was never complimented much when I was a kid, but now when someone compliments my art or me or something I always say Thanks.
And here's a compliment for you I would shower with you let you splash water on a white t shirt of mine and well you get the picture. I think your hot just too dang far away.

Juicy

We were never complimented as children, either. The biggest thing we were ever told was, "You kids! You are so well behaived! We can take you anywhere!!!"

Well, yeah, because it was death by Bung-gow-whah if we weren't!!! And that is okay. However...........

I played softball during the day and at night. My parents both worked so, no big deal in a way. But, we only lived two blocks from where I played softball at night. I was a killer pitcher---second in the City of Omaha----but they never knew that. I played to WIN!!! After that and into highschool, I never pursued sports. They had no idea. My brothers? Oh, yeah, went to their little league games, etc. I was awesome back then---anyone who knows me now KNOWS I would never boast or brag about myself---but dammit, I was awesome back then but nobody knew it but me. And if the fires are not stoked.....well...

Funny you should say all this...just a week ago I emailed my similiar tale of woe to a friend who is very attentive to his daughter's sports. I was wondering aloud to him about this phenomena....I knew then but do not know now....how does one just "know" how to propel their body into a slide into home run? Head first, feet first? We were never "taught", rather it was just an instinct. But today, I do not know for the life of me, how do you throw your body into that mode? I am perplexed.

Okay. Back at you. Pity trip, over.

P.S. (While we are lamenting---they never knew I as the outstanding student in---hold on to yourselves---in Home Economics and Art Achievement, either!) ~~Sigh~~~

Oh! By the way, speaking of compliments, SweetLoad, did you know that Juicy, who is a graphic artist, interviewed at Hallmark in Kansas City last year? Mmmmhmmmm! Yes she did! To garner an interview in and of itself is a remarkable accomplishment!

(Say, "Thank you!", Juice!)

def. Snogging:

making out with all the trimmings. Know as being a common term among the Brits, but for Americans its like a piece of verbal candy. The sound and spelling of the word itself doesnt seem to match the meaning, which we all know and love so well
