5 Dollars!

Why do I get so excited when I find money in the wash? I was washing clothes yesterday, and when I pulled them out of the dryer, there was a 5 dollar bill mixed in with the clothes. I know it was in my pocket, and was my money, so why did I get so excited when I found it? I guess it is possible that someone walks around and puts 5 dollar bills in peoples wash, but it’s not likely. I mean, when I get money out of the Automatic Teller Machine, I don’t get that excited, and that’s usually more then 5 dollars. You never see me standing at the ATM yelling “Jack Pot!” So what is the difference?

ATMs might actually cause more excitement if you inserted your card in and what came out was a surprise. One time might be $5, the next $500, kind of like the lotto. I think next time I go to an ATM, and there are folks waiting in line behind, I’m going to yell “Jack Pot” when I get my money.

At least Mr. Lincoln is nice and clean now.

I remember finding money that I'd stashed away for a rainy day. Now, how much good could it possibly of done me if I had completely forgotten about it in the first place?

If you did forget it, just think how much fun it would be finding it by accident later on! Lets say 2 years later. Your cooking in the kitchen, and take out the corn flower, and WHAM, $20. Wow, you would be happy for the rest of the day!
