Can You Cook ?

I asked this question in the AdultFriendFinder Mag. with only a few responses . I guess because I said microwaving a meal is not truly cooking a meal , it Pissed Off a few . I luv to cook and being that I'm a Navy Vet. as well as being taught to take care of myself by my mom , I'm not in need of a maid . I think for alot of people now days this subject is Tabu . This question is not meant to degrade anyone , it's a question for both men and women . You don't have to be the Best nor a Chef to cook . Plus if you cook on a date and all is good , the bedroom is just a few steps away to do some more Serious Cookin' .

WELL I WAS TAUGHT HOW TO COOK BY MY MOM AND MY GRAND (WHO IS NO LONGER ALIVE). SOME OF MY BEST MEMORIES ARE STAYING UP LATE DURING THE HOLIDAYS COOKING, LAUGHING, AND TALKING! AND TO HEAR MY GRAND COMPLIMENT A MEAL I PREPARED WAS THE ULTIMATE COMPLIMENT. MY MOM WAS A SINGLE PARENT WHO WORKED REALLY CRAZY HOURS SO BY ME BEING THE OLDEST I WAS OFTEN CALLED UPON TO COOK FOR MY YOUNGER SIBLINGS AND THEN FOR MY OWN KIDS. AS YOU SAY IT MAKES FOR A GOOD TIME WHEN YOU CAN PREPARE A MEAL FOR SOMEONE YOU ARE INTO AND THEY ENJOY THE MEAL AND LATER ON YOU! COOKING IS A DYING ART IN TODAY'S FAST PACED SOCIETY THOUGH BUT I IN TURN TAUGHT MY OWN KIDS TO COOK SO THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO COOK FOR THEMSELVES NOT DEPENDING ON OTHERS AS WELL AND MY SON USES HIS SKILLS TO IMPRESS HIS DATES BEFORE USIN HIS OTHER SKILLS. I TRULY BELIEVE THE WAY TO A MAN'S HEART IS THROUGH HIS STOMACH AND THEN THE REST OF HIS ANATOMY LOL!!! BUT TODAY'S GENERATIONS DO NOT TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN TO COOK WHEN THEY CAN BUY FAST FOOD OR POP SOMETHING IN THE MICROWAVE WHICH IS NOT ABOUT COOKING BUT GETTING SOMETHING TO EAT QUICKLY!!YOU WILL ONLY FIND THIS QUESTION DEGRADING IF YOU CANT OR CHOOSE NOT TO COOK. WOULD LOVE TO DO SOME SERIOUS COOKIN WITH YOU IN THE KITCHEN AND THE BEDROOM!!!!

cooking is a very sexy thing; my mama always told me that a way to a man's heart is through your cooking---and I focussed alot of energy on learning the skill. I really get pumped doing special stuff like when i was in new orleans I took a cooking course there and became obsessed with cajun cooking. It's very hot and sexy and almost guarantees some serious wild sex in that adjoining bedroom afterwards. Do they cook cajun in microwaves...no way! not unless you want to sleep with the gators!

Making bread is also pretty hot; nothing like pumping and rolling it with your hands and watching it rise as the heat build up. Nothing says 'voulez vous couchez avec moi' like French cuisine....

I was raised "country". Yes, I said COUNTRY!! A meal sometimes consisted of red beans, fried potatoes w/onions (as some would call smothered) and cornbread. I also come from a large family so there was always plenty to eat and lots of cooking. To this day, the tradition is carried on. I can't pretend to like to cook, but I love to bake and from what people tell me, I'm quite good. Example... New years day, I cooked ox tails (yup yup) mac n cheese, cabbage, mexican cornbread, of course fresh black eyed peas, and then baked a cake. I could have charged for that shyt after I put my foot in it.... If you don't believe me, you betta ask somebody lmao

I absolutely love to cook. I can make traditional food...candied yams, macaroni n cheese, greens, etc. I also enjoy making modern meals pecan encrusted salmon, stuffed chicken breasts, ginger stir fry, etc.

Cooking relaxes me. Also, it is something that I can give to a partner that is a labor of love.
