Shit Eating Grin
I remember when I first heard that phrase back in college.
I remember when and who taught me certain new words.
Certain songs bring up an image of a particular place and time when the song was playing. It's almost as if I was there.
How 'bout you?

|I can determine waht year I dated someone by the songs that were popular then....I always connect a song to my "love"|

There are certain songs that bring me back to loves gone by but not to a particular moment with them.
Others bring me back to a specific time with specific people.
Smell is something else. Can't tell you a particular smell but when it happens it is really powerful.

"Smile for a while, let's be jolly.
Love shouldn't be so melancholy"
Smiles everyone. Smiles.

Sometimes when I can't remember the date/year something happened...I can remember the songs that were popular and then remember the year.|

I have a lot of trouble telling what year things happened. Songs don't help, alas.
I uses major events a somewhat of a marker though. But there have been a lot of years without anything significant so they all blend together. Product of getting older I guess. The years seem to fly by.

He's a happy boy. Happy boy!
Yeah, more song lyrics.
I remember having that grin. I think I was still riding my dinosaur. Hmm has it been that long? Seems like it.

Whenever I hear the song "Never Say Goodbye" by Bon Jovi I remember hanging out in the local convienience store parking lot in High School with my best friend from back then. She now lives in Florida and I don't get to see her that often. |
I have many, many songs that remind me of events in my life.

Then there are songs that just bring up images and it's almost like you were there.
