The Sorceror's pride and joy

hey, if christine can do it, so can i!

hello, my name is Charmaigne, i'm the sorceror's pride and joy... an all original vintage 1967 Gibson SG-2 sometimes refered to as a Les Paul Jr. very few of this type were made and i'm very rare. Sorcy has had his loving hands all over me since he was 14. i was his first electric guitar and he named me for the first girl he made love to. he has such wonderful memories of her, she was beautiful, a stunning beauty... long blonde hair, blue eyes, the strong nordic face of a runway model and a body rivaling that of marilyn monroe. if he wasn't so emotionally undeveloped at that point in his life, who knows what could have evolved?

she liked that he was mad, bad and dangerous to know, reckless, fun loving, spontaneous... yet at the same time very gentlemanly, respectful, decent... a nice guy.

they ran into each other a few years later, after he had sort of flunked out of the university of fla and transferred to a college in ft. lauderdale, where they both are from.... he was at a night club with a few of his college buddies and she was working there as a cocktail waitress. his buddies' jaws collectively hit the floor when they saw her! ...then turned green when he told them she was an old girlfriend of his. it's a funny story and one he remembers fondly. she got a chuckle from it too

they became reaquainted but just as friends, which was ok. he was smack in the middle of the whole messed up christine deal and was in no emotional shape for anything else. too bad eh? for at one time they had some REAL magic going on there.

my name is charmaigne, and i am the sorceror's favorite guitar, and always will be... he plays me on all the standard tuning songs the band does, he plays with me when he just wants to play the guitar when not practicing with the band. he treasures me above all of his possessions and even above most people's lives (most, not all lol!). i'm the instrument he learned his skill on, the instrument he truley poured his soul into for many many years, the instrument he says, and i quote "where ever i bring this guitar i call my home". ...i am always at home in his hands.

Sorcy? *lmao*

I'll have to remember this one, Charmaigne ... and will be merciless with it; I assure you, Girlfriend! *wicked grin*

Don't worry ... I have no doubt that you and Christine are poking and prodding at Darlene for her to come forward.

My dad has a 69 Fender Telecaster, you know what that would be worth? I dont think it has a name.

that's same type guitar eric clapton played in that time period too... it's a sweet instrument! now, depending on it's condition, how original it is to when it was made... it could be worth thousands.

vintage guitars can be worth big bucks if their condition is at least very good. most of them are in poor condition and of course, once they are reconditioned they are not worth as much as one in pristine condition.
