Rat Pack Remembered

hey, it's Frankie's world... we just live in it eh?

Dean Martin was my favorite of the rat pack gang. there was also sammy davis jr., peter "son in" lawford and of course, the chairman of the board: frank sinatra.

in the up-tight 50's, they defined cool.

so, who is YOUR favorite rat pack hero?

Sinatra, cause he could make people "disappear" if you know what I mean.

Liked 'em all! I bought many Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin record albums in the 60's.

Frank and Dean are among my favorites. Chairman of the Board, always put on a good show. Temptations, James Brown, Aretha ... the list goes on and on. A certain realness and class these artist portray/ed.

Frank was the coolest, followed by Dino. Wasn't Joey Bishop in there, or am I having a blond moment?
BTW, is that a Les Paul you are holding? Mine is a 1974 LP Deluxe.

yep, joey bishop was too. and yes... it's a Les Paul Custom Gothic, fully tricked out and souped up too. i also just acquired a brand new american deluxe strat too, i'm tricking and souping that up too with a fernandez sustainer kit and new bridge system, adding about 5 more pounds to it in the process. the sustain will be legendary!

Dino is the Man!
Sammy was the most talented!
Peter Lawford (does he really count?) had connections.
Frank, I find boring, though my mother adored him, which is okay cos she liked Mel Torme!

Odds
