Sunday, time for work week preps!

7am here in the east, and a bit warmer than yesterday morning, only 37 degrees. Heat wave? Prolly not. hehehehe It did get up in the mid to high 50's yesterday though, which was nice. I was not out in it much, had inside stuff to do and then there was that kicking back thing I do on Saturday when I can. Nice nap in the afternoon, easy going net surfing and just generally wasting time with the brain on low, no pushing no pressure.
There is not a great deal on my plate for today either, to tell the truth. I am going to get some work stuff ready for this week, but I keep having to remind myself that it is a short work week, only have to get through Wednesday. Then four days off, man, I am looking forward to that.
You know, there is something that may bother some of you as it does me. I am all for celebrating Christmas and all and have enjoyed the festive holiday cheer for many years. However, here in our area, there are two local radio stations that have already changed their format for the duration of the season, Jan. 06 specifically, to all Christmas music all the time. I like the traditional music of Christmas as much as the next person, but come on now, a month and a half of it is a little much. There was only one station that did that until last year and another started it and has done so again this year, are the rest going to follow suit? I sure hope not. Just makes no sense and tends to take the edge off of the holiday for some, like me. By the time Christmas does get here, I am already to a point of wanting January to hurry up and get here too. To much of a good thing!
