Hump day, and am I glad!

Ok, it is not as cold out as was predicted, but it is 42 at 6:25am here in the east. So, it has a good chance of getting to the mid to upper 60s later today. There is a trend in our weather here and on most days, the temp during the day will be about 20 degrees higher than the over night low. I have not done any study at all on other areas of the country but I suspect there is a similar relationship in temps where you are. Take a notice of it sometime.
Well, now that the meteorology class is over, lol, I can get on with my day. All in all, yesterday worked out pretty well, and now it is the easy part of my week from her on to the weekend. I like it when I get to hump day. I have to go in to the office for a short time this morning and have class tonight, but that is a cake walk. More later on!
Ok, it is later and it is about mid 60s so see, there is that 20 degree differential I mentioned earlier. Not a lot to report, pretty easy day, but then it is supposed to be. Got to get ready for work in a bit. I was in the office this morning and got some paperwork done. Always some of that stuff to do. However, I am on the down hill slide for this week. Slow and easy till tomorrow night and then after that, weekend, at least for me. Hehehehe, I love it!
Ouch, have you been looking at the gas prices? What the hell do these people not understand about our resolve? Probably that we do not have any resolve, what, the US population actually care enough to get up in arms about anything. You must be joking, we are a take it all and let it slide country. Well, I for one am not going to take it nor subsidize it. We have got to tell the oil companies and thus the oil producing countries, that we are not going to be held hostage by their actions and profiteering. If we just take it, there is no limit to the height that prices will soar too. Come on, help me fight these bastards. SAVE ENERGY!
Well, I am finally home and I tell you it just amazes me how damn stupid we are as a people. On the way home I travel about 15 miles of a new interstate bypass around our town. The news has been out for over a week about the state and local police cracking down on speeding. I passed no less than 5 stops where police were giving tickets for speeding or some other infraction of the driving laws. In 15 miles, 5 different stops, now looks to me like the rest of us would understand these guys and gals are serious about this slow-down campaign. But no, I was doing my obligatory 5 miles over the 65 limit and was being passed every little bit by some damn idiot in a hurry to go nowhere. It just literally amazes me to death. We just don't learn and the price of gas is 10 cents a gallon higher now than it was at about 5pm today when I was headed to work. Do we care, hell no! Not the US, we just keep on goin and goin and goin. Well, the bubble is going to burst one of these days and it is gonna hurt real bad! Mark my words! Nite, nite, peeps, and keep my comments in mind the next time you head out on the highway!
