I need a new barber (racist southern folk)

I don't want to get my hair cut by someone spouting out racist remarks every 60 seconds. Yes, I'm in the South. It's funny though. There's a sign in his shop that says something about no profane language permitted in the shop. What makes it worse is that his customers usually go along with what he says, so it's not just a problem isolated to one guy. It's a regional thing.

Listen up southerners. I know you think people up north are staring down their noses at you, but it's not always because of your southern drawl making you sound slow in the head. It's what you're saying that makes you look stupid. Believe it or not, they are actually listening to the meaning of the words that come out of your mouth.

If the South tries to rise again, my response might sound like something they say about what they want to do to the Middle East. Nuke 'em.

They think blacks are stupid around here. If the blacks living in this area are stupid, it's because of the same old reasons; Poverty, racism, segregation, etc etc etc, not because they are somehow inherently incompetent.

There are exceptions to every rule, but living back here reminded me how much of daily southern life involves making racist remarks. We just had the bus driver down in Coushatta making black kids sit in the back of the bus.
