What makes a perfect first date?

I recently had a perfect first date. I thought it might be useful, at least for me, to write down what I thought made it so.

1. Anticipation ‒ liking the initial contact via email and phone and thinking this might be a special night.

2. Butterflies in the stomach ‒ The time for our face to face meeting is very close. Wondering if you’re going to like me in person.

3. The first look ‒ Getting a sense of your aura and how you hold yourself in the world. Seeing that you and your presence, having my breath taken away.

4. The first touch ‒ very soft, worlds of communication happens in an instance.

5. The first kiss ‒ so soft, yet holding so much promise.

6. Great conversation ‒ having a feeling for your intelligence and varied interests.

7. Being a little shy ‒ hinting at where you might like to have the night end, but not being obvious about it.

8. Walking close with me ‒ holding hands, having arms around each other and feeling the energy from each others bodies.

9. Deep, thoughtful looks ‒ looking into each others souls and seeing depth, emotions and lust. Having the anticipation of wanting more and wondering if you’re feeling the same thing.

10. Feeling a total mental connection ‒ Having an underlying feeling that we will have a long-time relationship, no matter what happens.

11. The first real kiss ‒ we feel like we have fallen into each others bodies and minds. The kiss goes on for what seems like eternity, even though it’s a relatively short time frame.

12. Undressing each other ‒ taking our clothes off with impatience but slowly at the same time. Beginning to learn each others bodies and having a sixth sense for what works.

13. Having our bodies fit well together ‒ making love for the first time and realizing our bodies fit perfectly ‒ not wanting to leave this position.

14. Sleeping together ‒ lying next to each other where we communicate in every way possible, feeling very alive.

15. Waking up together ‒ Feeling better about the time we spent together than at anytime up to now.

The most important part of the perfect first date ---- wanting to do it all over again with even more intensity.

So, here’s the question of the day: What makes a perfect first date for you?

I can't think of anything that would make a more perfect first date other than to wake up in the middle of the night and fit well together again...and again!

If you are strong and push through the pain and the fear, you often find that happiness is waiting for you on the other side.

Amen to that, what a sweet thought.

A perfect first date is a romantic dinner, followed by maybe a walk along the beach or a stroll through town talking and connecting on a mental level and flirting and teasing on a physical level.

Juicy

That was part of it. The dinner was as memorable as the time we spent together after.---Thanks for pointing that out.
