Some comments on my previous blog article made me very curious and i reopened 3 old books. Colin Wilson's Mysteries helped me with his regerences to the Old Religion and Thomas Lethbridge Witches, with his view of magic which is close to the two most important representatives of the magical tradition: Eliphaz Levi and Aleister Crowley. Both believed that magic is simply an unexplored power of the mind. I like very much this view. The purpose of rutual magic is to direct the will, to focus the real will . In his everyday life, man scarcely makes use of his will. He seldom wants anything sufficiently long or sufficiently intensely to summon his true will. But when he wants something deeply, he directs all his will towards it and this is the basic act of summoning magical powers.

Levi believed that there is some form of ether that carries the impulses of the will as luminiferous ether carries electromagnetic vibrations. The Theosophical tradition speaks of an akashic ether which serves the same function and asserts that everything that has ever happened is imprinted on the akashic records.

Robert Graves, in the White Goddess tell us about the theories of the very ancient moon cult. He had been pondering a series of riddles in a medieval Welsh poem and he concludes that the answers were connected with a secret Druidic aiphabet whose letters were the names of trees. It also served as a sacred calendar describing positions of the sun. Graves believes that this calendar was in use since the New Stone Age. His research into the Druidic religion led him to the conclusion that the moon Goddess is central to a whole range of pre-Christian cultures and mythologies.

The moon Goddess was the Goddess of poetry and magic and the irrational (we could say the Goddess of the surrealistes, lol) and that she was gradually supplanted by the Sun God, the god of light and rationality. And a result was that the Druidic alphabet gave way to the commercial Phoenician alphabet.

In other words, magic gave way to the age of science with it's emphasis on the physical word (magic has an emphasis on the hidden psychological word) and daylight knowledge.

But the moon Goddess stands for a different kind of knowledge, as real and logical in it's way as our intellectual rationalism. Science is based on man's view as a very limited creature, trapped in a purely physical universe. Lunar knowledge asserts that the universe of mind intersects the physical world and stretches into a different direction. Lunar knowledge is concerned with what we call now magic or paranormal or occult. Primitive people made not the distinction. Fot them, such things are as natural, or mysterious, as childbirth, or thunder, or an eclipse.

Regarding my previous article, i wasn't speaking about witches in general, i was speaking about our European witches, narrowly connected with Christianity and Inquisition and i wanted to give some emphasis on the sexual revolt of the witches. My point passed a little bit unnoticed but i am not complaining, many comments gave new dimensions that i had not foresee. This second part of witchcraft is dedicated to all of you and i wish you all

I liked more your previous article where all wirchcraft could be reduced to terms of imagination and sexual frustration...

Hey, Luno!
Maybe we should ask Panoramix about the Druid stuff...
Seriously, now, all in all this is very interesting stuff. I think i should do my homework before coming back on the subject.
However, regarding your previous artivle, I think that there is no revolt. Rather the opposite, if I've got it right...
Cheers, everyone!

Thank you for your nice words. Concerning the previous, there was oppression and of course an individual revolution against this oppression, revolution who took a very sexual aspect. If you search a little you gonna see that all those witches always copulated and copulated and copulated... And the sadist Inquisitors always tortured and and and ...

When i was much younger i read a book that impressed me a lot. It was The Man Without Qualities by Robert Musil. The author designs the portrait of a sexual killer and show's us that the violent impersonal sexual appetite of the male becomes dangerous if subjected to frustration and may develop an element of cruelty. The story of Isobel made me think that the same thing can happen to women too. Isobel was a beautiful girl with high IQ and a lot of imagination, she lived many years in a remote farm with an ugly and stupid husband and scarce social relationships with silly village people. Why did she made this incredible confession confessing that she was fucking with demons and with the Devil himself?

I would like to remind you that it was a period where women were hunged for adultery but not men. I believe that Isobel's reaction can be called individual revolution (rebellion must be a better word) against oppression and authority and that the main motive was sex, or rathet lack of it.

I am honestly waiting for the PART III of this Saga!!!

Too much effort to explain the ideology of ????? oh yes Witches was the subject but now it became a deeper one!...

Well Sirluno, I admire you for your patience going through all those sources to bring some explanations to us, as to how it all began.

Don't worry, Barabam and Tromara aren't that intelligent to get the concept of this blog

They will start writing poems and jokes again...grrrrrrr, I guess my sister Mocha too, if she visits this blog, she will drop you a joke and vansih...

Well written but for sure I want to see the PART III

some research on magic

Spells or the casting of spells is not done by literally throwing things together but are done by working very specific acts of magic. A spell has a specific kind of formula, which might use incantations, various potions, images, and implements. These elements are designed to gather magical power and direct it towards a specific purpose.
These elements are done to bewitch someone or something, to effect some kind of change, or to inject magic into healing remedies or objects. The recipes or formulas can be muttered over a herbal brew; but the best spells are done by means of the elaborate and mysteries ceremonies of ritual magic.

Note to my twin siter MissLizie
After all I had something more solid to say in this blog

I am not a follower of the Craft of the Wise. I have a teacher, Gurdjieff, but he is dead. Do you know him? He had Greek origin. Everybody is telling me that i cannot follow a dead teacher. I believe them but i cannot find something better. I meditate a lot and i think that i am a perfect outsider, lol. How about you?

4/21/2006 1:54 am

ok my friends, i will be the first who drop a joke (a good one) in here.

First Day at School...

It was the first day of 3rd grade, and a new school for Johnny. As a test, the teacher went around the room and asked each of the students to count to 50.

Some did very well, counting as high as 30 and 40 with just a few mistakes.

Others couldn't get past 20.

Johnny, however, did extremely well. He counted past 50, right up to 83. He was so excited that he ran home and told his Dad how well he had done. His Dad nodded and told him, "That's because you are from Arkansas, son."

The next day, in language class, the teacher asked the students to recite the alphabet. Most made it about half way through without much trouble. Some made it to M and N, but Johnny rattled off the alphabet right to W.

That evening, Johnny once again bragged to his Dad about his prowess in his new school. His Dad, knowingly, explained to him, "Son, that's because you are from Arkansas."

The next day, after Physical Education, the boys were taking showers. Johnny noted that, compared to the other boys in his grade, he seemed overly well endowed. This confused him. That night he told his dad, "Dad, they all have little tiny ones, but mine is ten times bigger than theirs. Is that because I'm from Arkansas?" he asked.

"No, son," explained his Dad, "That's because you're 18."

Dear 247

Now you know why i chosed that handle. In the beginning i was considering to call myself SirMuno, or SirMunakias, lol, but happily i changed my mind in the last moment.

The only magic that i know has to do with women and sex. I use it every time that i am trying to seduce a woman. I really try to hypnotize her, to send her vibrations and telepathic messages in order to conquer her. But to be honest, i must tell that i am often bewitched too. I admit that witches are stronger than charmers.

I am affraid that you belong to the same category, lol, and i must tell you that i like very much psychology and i know something about charmers and mind games as you called them. The best theory that i have ever see comes from Abraham Maslow and it is formulated in the book Motivation and Personality. He proposes there that the human motivation can be described by a hierarcy of needs or values. These fall roughly into four categories: psysiological needs (basically food), security needs (basically a roof over one's head), belongingness and love needs (desire for roots, the need to be wanted), and esteem needs (to be liked and respected). And beyond these four levels, he suggested the existence of a fifth category: self actualization, the need to know and understand, to create, to solve problems for the fun of it. The vast majority of the population never arrive in this fifth category, but charmers do. As you know very weel, they are never hungry for conquest and sex, they are in love with conquest and sex, they know that it provokes self actualization in their psyche, a kind of awareness.

Thank you very much for your nice comment my friend.

3 friends went to a cafe

each bought a doughnut

each doughnut cost $10 dollars, the waiter collected the total of $30

when he handed the money to the cashier, he told him that he made a mistake...when you buy 3 doughnuts there is a discout of $5, so he should have collected only $25.-...so he asked him to returned $5.- change to the customers.

The waiter being a cheater while returning the $5.-, he put in his own pocket $2- and gave to the customers $1.- each as a return change.

Now the question is...

3 customers x $9.- each doughnut = $ 27 total

the waiter stole $2-

Now, $27 + $2 = 29

Could you tell me where is the 30th DOLLAR????

SirLuno 55M

4/23/2006 2:17 pm

I am gonna hire you as cashier if i ever open a shop. He took thirty, stole two and gave back three, the sum was 28 not 27. Each guy gave 9,33 for his doughnut.

Dear Sexy SirLuno, yo are obviously an intelligent very well read man. I have to admit to being with you on the witch theory, we are all capable of summoning powers, we just dont focus enough to get what we really want. And I love the idea of Abraham thingy...yes I am blonde.but also I am on to 5 ppl so I am losing focus, sorry hun. I think I am almost at that level 5, well in fact I think I dip in an dout of it LOL.

As for intelligence, most people are either good at words.such as yourself or at numbers which you obvioulsy aren't. The waiter didnt give cents change each he gave dollar each. So the cahsier stayed with dollars, each friend with one (thats 3) and the waiter 2. Thats equals 30.

Try and write about something a bit more light hearted my sweet, all these quoatations kill me........unless of course yo go to shakespeare, now there a man I understand

PLEASE.....more guys try the riddle above

MissLizie 53F

4/24/2006 7:15 am

32 Dollars

Well, Mocha I didn't want to get involved but I guess you are all wrong.

I always excelled in math so if you think this way;

He gave them back $1 each that is = Total $3
They actually paid $9 each, that is = Total $27
The waiter stole $2, that is = Total $2

Add up
$3 + $27 + $2 = $32

isn't that smart???? HOW ??
Who wants to take up this challenge

why $32

Tromara 46F

4/24/2006 9:06 am

All I know is that $9 for a fucking donut is way too much!!!
$1 each is $3.
$2 waiter kept.
Donuts w/ discount was $25.

well, I myself am a natural born witch, but a responsible one. One which deals with love and light only. My blog on here helps in teaching about the paranormal / psychic / wiccan ways. You do also realize Alister Crowley was a Satanist...not a witch.. I myelf when growing up read a lot about Alester Crowley so I know what I am talking about. Placing his name along with the word witch I find to be insulting of the purity of light in which true witchcraft stems from. But again alas, this is my opinion only and we all know like azz holes everyone has one including myself.

SirLuno 55M

4/30/2006 9:17 pm

Hello responsible witch, welcome to my blog. I am not so well informed to tell if Aleister Crowly was a Satanist or a witch. I took interest on him because, as Colin Wilson relates, Crowly put great emphasis on "sexual magic", he believed that sexual and magical powers are one and the same thing. In many books that i read he is considered as great magician and placing his name along with the word witch never had the intention to insult anybody. Have a mice day, thanks for your comment.
