I'm not a fan.
What has driven us to feel a need to augment what we have? Its especially sickening when people from Hollywood, the ones who are already blessed with beauty, go through the process. They already have set a standard for beauty, I see no reason to up the ante.
Has anyone ever watched a nose job on TLC? They take the surgical equivalent of an awl and hammer and reshape your nose!
I feel a little sympathy for those who go through the process because they are not happy with themselves. However, without the paintbrush icons and surgically-enhanced divas that blanket our media I think far fewer people would be unhappy with their bodies, whether God-given or genetically-inherited.
From Joan Rivers to Nip/Tuck, plastic surgery is now main-stream acceptable. I'm disgusted.
