Moving is hard

Picking up your life and transporting it in its entirity is difficult. In my case, I'm going from Oxford, Mississippi to Manhattan, Kansas. This is my one question:

How did I acquire all this crap?

I'm a poor college student. There is no possible way to have purchased all of this. And what to do with things that, well, aren't yours, but you forgot who they belonged to?

I suppose that, without knowing it, you leave a piece of your life with everyone who has something of yours. Even if they don't remember who's it was, that piece has been transfered from you to them.

Actually, kind of a warm fuzzy feeling.
