The parade of assholes!

Happy 4th to all. As I sit here in my office looking out over the heads of the people lined up on our sidewalk to watch yet another small town parade filled with cars, fire engines, clowns and oh yeah, assholes! To give you all a Little glimpse into my blissful life in a small town, this is but a brief overview of my story. A few years ago I relocated to a small town here in North Central Idaho for what was to be a great job and stepping stone in my career. My wife (ex) and I figured it would be a great place to raise the children, far from the crime of where we came from. All was good and well when we visited this little piece if paradise and so we moved, well, that's when things fell to shit! I have lived my life for the last three years in a complete state of disbelief as to what some people in this little ass town will do just because you we're not hatched there! They call themselves locals and to them I'm a transplant. I battle with these narrow minded, inbred, ass clowns on a daily basis and di-spite my best efforts have made no headway. So, over the years I've lost my family, sold all the property and toys, and am now left with nothing but this great view from my office window, looking over the heads of all the assholes who have made my life a living hell for the last three years, wishing I had a bunch of little brown bags of dog shit that I could throw at them! Anyhow, happy fourth! lol

Hmmm, same could be said about a black guy moving to some parts of the south, the north, the west...

Hmmm, same thing could be said about women in corporate America and the Boy's Club/glass ceiling.

Hmmm, same thing could be said about the Mexicans in border states.

Hmmm, same thing could be said about a non-union worker in a union state.

Son, welcome to reality! It ain't so fun when the privileged, the majority gets to share the same shaft that minorities have had to experience.

On a less philosophical note... I'm truly sorry that this is happening to you. Treatment of this nature is never right. Unfortunately, as you already know, things are very slow to change. And, what adds insult to injury is when society as a whole fails to accept what is happening and the reality of the situation (e.g. there is no more prejudice, "they" had affirmative action - what's the problem, all nice towns are loving, nice, and peaceful...)

Well I guess Bambi told you honey lol. Women can be sharped tongued, especially when we feel righteous lol. I guess we've all met those poor abused white men in life, and take any kind of whining on your part as that. Should I tell Bambi you're not like that??? lol Couldn't help but cackle as I read it though lol, Go Bambi!!

I can absolutely understand where your coming from on this one as i too have been "transplanted" into small town usa here in beautiful idaho. Its a wonderful place to live and raise the kids but some small town people can be so small minded saying or doing anything just comes under great scrutiny no matter how you say or do it. I had a friend tell me when we moved if you dont know whats going on at home ask someone in town. So far i have found that more true than i wanted to believe, but i guess that might be the price we pay for living in such a place that gives us that piece of mind. Get out find new friends (obviously not in town) and have a ball...Best of luck, and i absolutely sympathize...
