Last night on MythBusters they were trying to bust the myth about a Corvette for sale, real cheap, because someone had died in it. But, since the car was not found for a few weeks, the smell could not be removed.
I heard this myth back in the late, late 70's.
When I heard the story, the car was in Cushing, Ok and the people selling it wanted $500
The story I heard was, some guy went out on a back road and killed himself, in the summer. (See yesterdays Bad Joke Wednesday for an idea of Oklahoma summers) and that the smell had gotten into everything.
Did you hear this myth growing up? If so, where was the car and how much was it?

Only time I heard any myths about cars is when I watched "Christine" by Stephen King! |
Now that was eerie!
