Still Waiting

Still waiting for something to say. Still coming up with nothing.

It's not like much happens here.

I thought I was going to have to pack again to move by Labor Day weekend but the house that I thought we were going to go back to -- the house that I used to live in League City, TX and wouldn't mind going back to -- actually, finally, unbelievably now has a sale contract on it. So... no packing. No moving.

I got a call today about a data entry job processing child support payments. LOLOL Oh, how appropriate!! Actually, the call was just about my needing to go back to take another test that is different than the one I already took. Whatever. Nothing to get remotely excited about or interested in until they actually call for an interview.

Another season of television re-runs are coming to a close and new shows beginning again. Some have already come back on. Prison Break started this past week and I'm not so sure that it's going to be able to hold my interest like it did last season. We'll see. Rescue Me, which is coming to a close next week, has been INCREDIBLE this season, as always. The bad boys of Miami Ink have added a bad girl to the mix and are off again on a new season of tattooed storytelling.

Okay, so why do you want to read my blog when you can just read TV Guide or your cable directory?

Peace out!

What's with the moving? Is this something you may have to do, or simply may want to do? Maybe you can process a few child support payments your way and buy a condo or two!!!

Can't wait for the Rescue Me finale also. And, HBO's Deadwood has been phenomenal. This Sunday's finale is going to explode!!!

Ah, Its you again, Your Angel Feathers and your Blood Stains...

Hey Doc... somehow I think I might get into BIG trouble if I were to process anyone's child support payments my way other than the meezley one I do receive. Besides, it's for the children!!

As for the move, my family and I moved where we are now because we were going to sell the old house and build one here. A year later, we haven't had a sell on the old house and our builder wasn't approved by the bank, etc... etc... etc... It's been one, big pain in the ass. So, about the time we decide to pack up our crap and head back, someone makes us an offer on the house. We drew up a contract to close the end of Oct. but it's contingent on whether or not this couple's house sells. So, it might be a mute point and we might be packing up and going back, after all, but it won't be for another couple of months. Knowing my luck, this particular contract will go through and we will sell the house and then I'm stuck here in this God forsaken place called San Antonio!!!

I can't imagine what else they will throw our way for the season finale. Tommy is going to have to choose between leaving the FDNY or not and whether to move forward with Sheila or try again with Jackie. Decisions. Decisions. And Franco better go get his daughter back, the SOB!!! BTW, how funny was that when Tommy's brother looks at him from the casket?! That cracked me up!!!!

I've never watched Deadwood. I can't wait for Grey's Anatomy, though!! I've always been a diehard LOST fan but they better step it up this year or I might stop watching that, too. If it's anything like last year, I can wait for the DVD to come out. I did read something that said there would be no more hatch and no more reruns. I think the "no reruns" idea is a FABULOUS one because I think that really blew the momentum of the show. All of the intrigue and adventure were lost. Ha! No pun intended!!

LOST will have, in essence, two seasons. There will be a series of 10 or twelve consecutive weeks to start the season, 10 - 12 to end the season, and a break in between of a couple of months when some hopeful new show will air. I think it is a much better plan!

I read that too about LOST but I thought it was 6 shows or something like that. I don't always mind the mid-season throw-ins. Take Grey's Anatomy. They started out that way and look how far they've come.

Are you liking Prison Break? I watched last night's episode and thought it was too unbelievable. Unbelievable and not in a good way. I mean, come on, you're wanted by the FBI and you're going to stand outside of a car to talk on your cell phone to your son when you know the damn wires are going to be tapped AND then you stand outside a store and wiggle your eyebrows at some chick walking her dog? They're taking the whole "hiding in plain sight" thing a little too literally here and what the hell happened with the crazy guy? He hasn't shown up this season at all! Then there's T-Bag who had his hand cut off, manages to save it as he's staggering around God knows where only to have it sewn back on by a VET and he does the surgery without any painkillers and he still has the strength to grab ahold of the Vet with his newly sewn on hand?! Give me a F' break!

Yeah... I mean when I reattached my own leg last year, it hurt like hell for days!!!

I'll keep watching, but I'll have to suspend ALL belief this season.

I know exactly what you mean! I mean, when my eye fell out of my head last week, I kicked it around the kitchen for 5 hours trying to pick it up, the damn slippery bastard. But, now, I'm happy to report that I was able to reattach all of my optical nerves as I popped it right back in -- without washing it off -- and I can see perfectly now! Better than ever, in fact.

Geesh.

Maybe next week will be better. I hate to give up completely on Michael Schofield.
