Some Useful (?) Advice for the Boys

My girlfriend and I were discussing this phenomenon in the dating world. AKA one of my dating pet peeves

So here it is:

When it comes time to asking a girl out... be specific. Make plans. Make suggestions. Don't just throw out a random comment about getting together.

For (bad) example:

boy: You want to get together and meet?
girl: Sure.
boy: OK, well let me know when it's good for you and what you want to do.

For (good) example:

boy: You want to get together sometime?
girl: Sure.
boy: How about (insert day of the week here)?
girl: That should work for me. What do you have in mind?
boy: Well, I was thinking we could do (insert activity here). If that's alright with you.
girl: Sure, its find with me.
boy: Okay, well how about we say (insert time here). Do you want me to pick you up or do you want to meet me there?
girl: (whatever she wants although I think its smarter to meet him there)

Then, the proper thing to do is confirm the night/day before either via email or phone call.

And, as far as I'm concerned, this work both way, girls. If you ask a guy out, be prepared to follow through with plans and specific times.

Okay, I'm climbing off of my soap box now.

On the way in to wherever yer going guys, shock her by asking if she has enough money to cover her half - its a good ice breaker.

It's also a good way to guarantee NEVER seeing her again!!

And if you never see her again, so what? if she doesn't have a sense of humor fug her.

I guess your idea of a sense of humor is different than mine, goboi.
