Restricted Actions

Not too long ago, I was put on Restrictive actions. I'm a student-athlete and our big competition is coming up soon. As we need to save our energy, ready to explode on the big day, our coach sits down with the team to have a conversation. What are goals are, how can we focus to acheive them. Then he throws in the "no sex" clause. It seems that after ejaculation, endorphins are released that can relax your body up to 4 days. 4 Days, but we've been restricted from sex for 2 weeks! And the competition isn't for another 2 (give or take a day) What is the point of that? I'm not gonna break the clause, for respect of my coach, respect of my teammates and all the hard work we put into our season, but it sure is frustrating.

Do you think you would give up sex for a sport? How long do you think you could hold out?
Any other similar experiences? Just trying to feel a little better about the situation.
