Wish I had more time for writing and reading all the wonderful blogs. Just like wishing I had more time to make friends or to be involved with, work, work. Makes Jane a dull girl.

Thank you! I would like to take more time for me but it always seems like I am looking to help people who are less fortunate. Sometimes I get taken for granted and am treated like a doormat. It's my own fault. I should follow your advice. I'm taking a few minutes alone time on lunch. That's a good start isn't it? Oh, and tomorrow I'm having my hair done. See I can schedule some time just for me. I'll keep trying...

The last thing we want to do in life is work, work and work so that we can get our finances established and retire 10 years early, only to find out that our hard work has stressed us to the point that we die 10 years early.

Last year I was working a job that I hated. I paid my house off and felt it necessary to find a new job. I was stressed to the point that I felt that if I stayed there any longer that I would have a breakdown. So I one day decided to give notice, with no prospective jobs lined up. I chose to look for a job that had a lot less responsibility. I found a job that was entry level at $10 per hour going down from $20 per hour. It was the single most smartest thing I have ever done in life. I love my new job, no stress, love the people and the company. And you know what? With the additional overtime hours, profit share, better 401K, etc. My yearly income is going to be about the same.
