Just Sassy

Good Morning everyone! Okay, I have truly appreciated the comments on my oh so very depressing posts lately but I'm doing better. My ex and I broke up about 8 mths ago but everytime he decides he wants to pop back in my life bc he misses me, I let him and the wounds just open up again.
I am done with him. The End. I want kids. He already has them and doesn't want anymore. Believe me, lol... It's not like he is perfect besides this one quirk.

Now, back to life in general. I think that I am possibly going to lose my mind if this cold doesn't go away. I can't freaking sleep at night AT ALL and I have insomnia as it is.
I work out at nights for about 2-3 hrs and I know that gets me going so I should work out earlier but I prefer working out at night. I am not a morning person and I'm at work during the day. Besides around 5 or 6pm everyone AND their dog is at the gym. Actually lately the gym has been packed when I go too. Which is between 8:30-11:30. Seriously people, GO home! lol...

Today is Tuesday and I slept about 30 mins last night... period. I tossed and turned. Got out of bed finally and did some cleaning around the house. I'm a neat freak, I know... slightly OCD about cleanliness...lol.

So, I am like the walking dead today. Just wanted to stop by and chatter away for a little bit.

I work out late at night, too. It's the only time I have *time*!

We all go through our funks and depressions. Just stop talking to the ass!! Or I'll come down and kick you in the flat ass, lol.

Sorry, you weren't able to sleep well last night. Hopefully you will be so exhausted after your workout that you will be able to sleep peacefully.

Oh, and I wanted to thank you. I suspect it was you that gave me my cold. Those cyber germs take a little while but they got here. Down for the count yesterday. All I could do was sleep. It didn't hurt that Sunday night I didn't leave where I was until 1:45.

So Jadey, next time she lets the ex bother her are you up for a road trip. We'll give Sassy a hug and then go kick his ass and tell him to leave her alone.

Try and get some rest.

I think you're right in your suspicion that working out late effects your sleep. I know you said you're not a morning person, but that could be all the more reason to give it a shot, if you can. A friend of mine was recently having a similar problem. He switched his excercise routine to the AM. Now by the time night falls, he's so tired he has no problems crashing. Hope you feel better - colds suck.

S.R., Damn those cyber germs. It's been a week and I am still kinda sick! grrr

Zom, the past 2 days I have worked out around 5 for about 2 hrs. It doesn't make a difference in how well I sleep BUT it does make me realize I don't do anything late at night...lol. I've already gone to the gym and I'm home lost...lol. I just start cleaning.

Gold, lol... have I mentioned that Im a neat freak before? You wanna be my love slave baby?

Sassy: late workouts make it impossible for me to sleep too. I also am NOT a morning person. What I HAVE found, though, is working out early in the day on a regular basis causes my internal clock to change and makes it easier over the long run to work out in the morning. It also helps me be more alert early in the day than I would be otherwise. Actually, though, my number one secret, is that I get up and work out before I realize how much I'm putting myself through!

Fantasia, I work out at least 3 times a week around 5pm now. Then, my nights feel empty... The other 4 days I week, I still go late. I just got home and showered and its 5 mins til midnight... I go at 9 and spend about 3 hrs there...torturing myself! I can't give it up in the evening completely. I have insomnia anyway so I should be used to it. However, being sick all last week, having insomnia and working out late was KILLING ME! Thanks for the advice! BTW, you look great so I don't see any reason for you to be killing yourself at the gym Hon.

I'm with on the working out late at the gym part. I used to love it when mine was open until midnight...
