A perfect night of conversation...

There she was sitting at the bar when he tapped her on her shoulder. He looked quite appealing in his black shirt and khaki slacks. He smiled and asked her if he could buy her a drink. She smiled back and offered the bar stool next to her. "Of course, that would be nice". She had just finished off the last drink of her Cape Cod so he arrived at the perfect moment. They talked and laughed for hours and before they knew it the bar was closing. Neither of them wanted the night to end so they decided to go for a drive. He was a businessman only in her city for the week. So, she showed him around the city and they continued talking. They drove for over an hour and then she drove him to his hotel. When he stepped out of the car he asked her if she'd like to come back to his room... she declined. This night had been to perfect the way it was. Hours of perfect conversation and laughter. She stepped out of the car to hug him goodbye. He placed one hand on her cheek and one arm around her waist. That one kiss made her knees weak... He was one of those men. The sexy men that could kiss you and make you forget everything around you. They are rare but the ring on his finger reminded her that this night would end now... She said goodnight and drove away.

I wonder how soon after she accepted the drink did she spot the ring on his finger?

Hmm, OK . . . Exact same scenario, BUT, there wasn't a ring . . . not even a shadow around the ring finger . . . (and maybe the shirt wasn't black either) . . . Would your decision have been different?

Such a beutifull image at first glance. Then as i tak a breath i realise the underlying message. All the "good" men are taken. Dear lady I so hope it is not true of either gender. It is so hard for an honest man who is romantic to as it is.

This constant message "no good ones left" is killing romance. None of us are perfect or was any man of the past. But dearest there are many of wanty so much to have that relationship of 4 level love. We want social (friendship), physical(sexual attraction), emotional (passion), psycological/spritual (that finnal and forever pure married love most never find).

Sassy, we are out here. But the sunglasses or blinders make it hare for us to be seen as anything other than the best friend a woman ever had. That ok though. Ill take a true friend at three levels than a lover at one.

Life is all about 3 l's loveing, learning, and laughing.

Real, yes... enchanted indeed.

Saint, yes, the ring always does..

Pro, immediately, but she didn't want to end the conversation.

Love, I will work on that answer for you.

Elysian, thank you.... yeah, the ring ruined it for me.

Macker, just the fact that you paid attention to my lil' dream means so much to me. You covered almost everything...you just forgot about the castle in the distance. ANYTIME! Seriously...anytime.

Nuttz, lol. You know me baby! I'm so picky!

Jadey, Yes, almost... so close. Damn the ring.

Ooooh... Sounds sexy! Sounds like a reall good night. Probably better than most others. Be grateful for the little things. After a while they add up to a lot.

Dmas, this hits me. "Ill take a true friend at three levels than a lover at one" I feel the same way. I have actually made a lot of great friends here. I would never trade them for sex. Sex is great but a real man is a man who can be your friend and listen to you. Thanks for all of your honesty!

Big, I think it sounded like a good night too...all except the ring...lol. AND you are very welcome! Thank U for coming by!
