But I don't want to cheer up...damn him.

I've been in a mood all day and was whining to Mr. Seriously on instant messenger when my office phone rings.

"Hello?"

"Do the Happy Dance."

::: momentarily puzzled ::: "Pardon me?"

"Do the Happy Dance."

:::: sighing :::: "I donwanna."

"DO IT!!!"

:::: sighing louder ::: "Fine."
::: standing up, moving my feet to the Happy Dance ::::

"Sing."

"I DONWAN--"

" SING, DAMNIT! "

:::: sighing even louder and singing :::: "I'm doing the Happy Dance, I'm doing the Happy Dance...."

This was payback for me making him do the Happy Dance about three times (and Numfar's Dance of Joy at least once) during the course of the party Saturday night.

I HATE when someone tries to cheer me up when I don't feel like being cheered up. It's like trying to go from -10 to 100 in an instant. Not possible and the only result (other than homicide) is some phony assed pretend happy shit.

But since you did it to him too...
Do I sense some lawyerly karma taking place?

(A rude response is fine, and, as a matter of fact, encouraged)

Yeah, I'm still [blog 1hotwahine]

Hmmm, so did you Go Shoes get you where you wanted to? .

I'm sending belated good vibes south to you in case they're still deliberating.
