Ah, the mysteries of willpower. I look at my pack of cigarettes, hate them, but find myself lighting up another one. Damn....
I've tried to quit, blame the stress, try to chew gum, but then find nothing to do with my hands. I've even tried lollipops, but I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I end up disliking them more than I like cigarettes. (Maybe they should make lollipops flavored like cheesecake)
Now, I've heard that the best way to quit is to go cold turkey. How the hell am I supposed to do that when almost everyone I know smokes? Grr...plus it's getting pretty darned expensive to smoke anymore. Maybe I'll try again.

Yeah yeah, everyone will give you there opinion of what works. Heard it all already.|
I smoked for about 10 yrs...quit cold turkey. Well, I did chew on a package of nicorette or two. I did it on the day before Thanksgiving, 1997. Easy enough dat eto remember so that helps.
I went to visit Grandma in WI with Mom and wasn't able to smoke. I bought some gum and chewed that to curb my cravings. Then, I guess I just figured out that I wanted to quit. So I did.
And I don't miss it a bit!
I smell good, feel good, taste good, look good...I would never smoke again.
Just my little abbreviate story. Good luck.
