The Beach (Part2)
The Beach (Part2)
Steve sat on the edge of the bed in the messy room, thinking how do he expect me to find anything in this mess. “Spoiled rich kids, living large and playing hard. They are out there now making a high seas booty call and what am I doing?
Sitting here alone in a mess up room, thinking about my messed up life. I don’t get her, at first I thought that she was going to call me out and put our business on front street, but as the evening went on, she started to mellow out. She was laughing and dancing as though what I did to her didn’t happen. I know she knows there is no doubt about that. I felt her hands on the back of my neck. I know that I was wrong, but her pussy tasted and felt so good, rolling on my tongue. The heat from her thick yellow thighs warming the sides of my face. It was like burying my face in a vat of warm butter. Steve felt his own body heat rise, as he relived that evening again in his mind. He was shocked back to realty when he heard a on the door. Donna asked, “Hey did you fall asleep in there?”
Without thinking Steve jumps up and moves quickly to the door, “I’m coming!”
He opens the door and realizes instantaneously what caught Donna’s eyes as he cleared the passageway. Before the blood from his pelvis could rush back to his face in embarrassment, Donna’s eyes smoothly turn away and she pointed towards the rack of CD’s under the stereo and said, “Let’s just grab some of these and get back to the party, I’ve gotten a little hungry and my buzz is wearing off.”
She did it so matter of factually, that Steve couldn’t help but feel a little hurt that she dismissed the matter so quickly, as though it didn’t even happen. This has gone on far enough, I need to sit her down and have this thing out, because this will drive a brother crazy. Just as Steve was about to go off into another deep thought, Donna shouts, “ Hey! Isn’t that your boy’s boat heading out of the bay?”
Steve hurries to the window next to Donna, and watches the lighted mast of his friend’s boat going around the bend. Steve said to himself, enough of this mess. The stress of being alone with this woman is a bit much. Steve looks at Donna as she watched the boat fade into the night. “Where are they going?” asked Donna.
“Parrot Key Island, an after hours spot where people dock and party until dawn.” Replied Steve. “If you want I can radio them back, I know that it is late and taking off like that wasn’t very thoughtful of you.” He added.
She paused for a moment as though she was about to go off in a rage, but instead exhaled slowly and said without turning her head, “Naw, let them go have their fun. They are young and free and are entitled to enjoy that precious gift of freedom, along with whatever consequences that come with it… Don’t you agree Doc?”
This time Doc did not blush away, this has worn on him long enough and he was not going to wear this mantle of guilt anymore. “Donna we need to talk.”
“All right, but first would you pour me a drink and make us a fire, it has gotten a little chilly in here?” said Donna.
“Sure”, Steve said as he walked over to the fireplace. Donna walked over to the entertainment center and placed the CDs into the carriage of the unit. It took her a while to figure it out, but managed to get the system working. Soft jazz permeated the room. The moon was full and the sky was bright with stars. There was little need for a look of bright lights. The fire from the fireplace added a warm soft glow to the room. Donna seated herself on one of the sofas facing the fireplace. She removed her shoes and coiled her feet under her. The coach, the fire and the music allowed her to drift into a melodic daydream. She stirred only when Steve softly spoke, “Here is just what the doctor ordered.”
“What is it?” Donna asked.
“An Island drink called “MULAKA”, replied Steve. He sat down next to her, watching as she takes in the exotic aroma of the drink. “It is a mixture of passion fruit and spiced rum, served hot”, Steve said and followed by taking the first sip. “Well the last time you gave me something, I was in a daze state for hours after.” Said Donna.
“Sorry” Steve said sadly.
“Oh, don’t be, it was the best sleep I had in weeks. Besides I am just glad you took care of that tooth and also thanks for the cleaning. Everyone has been complimenting my smile. Look for new customers in the weeks to come.” Donna said and started sipping her drink. Her eyes sparked and the look of satisfaction was on her face as the warm drink flowed down her throat and warmed her chilled bones.
“Well in prison, I guess they need dental work as well,” Doc said dryly. Donna looked at him sweetly, but puzzled and asked. “ Is something wrong? I feel that something is weighing heavily upon you. Maybe if you talk about and get it off of your chest you will feel better.”
Steve chuckled, “ Off my chest…that’s what got me in this situation from the get go.”
“Look, you are confusing and I must admit, scaring me a little here” Said Donna. “Why don’t you just tell me now or just take me home, because I did not come all this way out here to seat moaning with you, while everyone else is out there having the time of their lives.” Donna said as she started to rise from the couch to leave. Steve stretches out his hand and places it on her arm. “Ok, Ok, I will come clean.”
They sit there for a moment, looking into each other eyes. Donna clearly sees the pain and anguish in Steve’s face. Then he takes her hands and began to speak. “First of all, I make no excuses for what I have done, for what I have done is totally un-excusable.” Donna tries to cut in, but Steve beckons her to listen. “You came to me in need and pain. I could not hide the fact that I was attracted to you the first moment I saw you walk into my office. I ignored the fact that you were a wife and a mother; all I saw was a very beautiful and desirous woman. A sexy woman, that stirred me deeply and made me forget who I was.”
Donna looked into Steve’s sad face. A few beads of sweat and a tear rolled down his cheek. “Steven, tell me what happened that night in your office”
