Its just a ramblin thang.. not a vanity thang or is it ??

I love to start the day with a swim with the mr. to wake me up then have some coffee .. soak in the warmth of the sun.. the aroma from my new blooms..the singing of the birds and my parrot trying to out match them vocally.. this is a great way to start a day.. get your thoughts in order to plan the next step.

This week has been a ruff one on me... emotionally.. with all the Drama.. some disappointments..rejection from job search and realizing I just don't know what I want to do or focus on what I need to do.. For a positive person 99% of the time... that see's the good in everything and then finds her self in the search of the good.. well it just sends my brain into a frenzy.. I can't think clearly.. so I don't.. so Intern I get impulsive and do stupid stuff.

for example... a lady opened up a hair salon in her home down the street from me.. as I was driving by I decided to turn around.. I walked in asked if she took walk in's she said yes.. I quickly thought about my post "men can't measure" and I asked her to cut 4" off.. with in 5 minutes I watched the bottled Blondie locks of hair fall to the floor along with a tear.

This is not a vanity thing.. If you know me.. I have never had a pedicure.. tried once.. it tickles.. My finger nails are filed by the dirt and sand in my garden and I only paint them to hide the stains from my garden.. My make up comes with a coupon.. I have no clue what is in style.. I just wear jeans and t's.. if i have to dress dress and pearls and pumps.. you can't go wrong Mom told me.

I stay with Dove, Jergins.. and baby oil.. bleach and lysol and tide.. I'm just so basic.

But My main... had so many reasons for its length...all the woman in my family has and had long beautiful hair.. worn swept up.. My Grandmothers was a beautiful silver that touched her feet.. she wore it in a bun all the time. She died at the age of 99.. Her hair draped her body in her last resting place.. she was beautiful.

I remember My Grandfather saying your Hair is your youth.. don't ever cut it..My Gran mother would always braid the girls hair at family gatherings and make us beautiful ribbons from left over fabric from a quilt she was making....

So I always kept my Hair long but always usually swept up in a scrunci.. ( I know out of style)..

So its not a vanity thing..My hair had alot of meaning and memory.. but when i got up this morning and brushed the badly damaged, sun bleached, chemically drenched Blondie locks that took it's tole also with medications from the pancreas..realizing there just ain't nothing on the market to make this stuff look better. so off it goes

What I will really miss.. Is the Mr. stroking my long hair, wrapping it in his hands..slowly and gently guiding me to his desires.. sweeping it away from my face.. Hearing him purr as my hair flows all over his body.. him behind me with one hand on my shoulder pulling me in as he gently pulls my long hair.

Any one know of a good wig shop ?

I can't wait to see it, as you know I cut about 4 inches off mine. As long as Mr. can grab a hand full don't worry I bet you look awesome.

I am sure you look as beautiful as ever!!!!!

You know, being that I am a former salon worker (I did more of manicures than hair) I would like to let you in on a secret. I am sure that you already know that trimming your hair at least once evry 2 months keeps it healthy and it grows faster. Also B vitamins help with hair and nail growth.

Don't worry, it will grow back. Hugs to you!

Thanks.. yes I do get it trimmed regurly.. but I had to face the truth it needed to all be cut off.. I have been taking the b's and they do help.. I can tell by my finger nails and I have to admit.. My hair looks much better
Big huggsssssssssssss

But in the fall I know when it grows out Bald spot will be gone so don't sweat the small stuff. You are to wonderful for us to care bout a few inches

your hair will grow back healthy and shiny wish it was that way for me - he he - my grandpa didn't have great hair jeans but hopefully I have mine for a little longer. I used to have it past my shoulders - but then I had to look professional if I wanted a job (oh well).

you know there is a dietary supplement called biotin, which is supposed to promote healthy hair and nails.

SacredStarDance replies on 6/3/2006 8:37 pm:
thanks.. yes I use all the b's and biotin.. I just had to finally get rid off the stuff that was already dead... Its just hair.. I will live.. I hope..

Lucky Skynard!!!!

I'm the same with my hair! The last time I did more than a trim, it was when I left my 2nd husband over 5 years ago! I just don't have the heart to cut it, it's too much a part of me!!

But you and I both are so much more than our hair!! And you have the courage to do what I don't, show that!!! LOVE YOU!!!! -B

I can sympathize with you honey. I cut my hair real short once, and I mean REAL short, I had never, ever gone that short before. I walked in the door, J took one look at me and said "you look like a dike" (his words, not mine, they aren't meant to offend anyone, sorry} He was NOT happy. I haven't cut it since. Honestly, I like it longer too, for all of the reasons that you named above

SacredStarDance replies on 6/3/2006 6:20 am:
Thanks.. I know when Mr. FINALLY noticed..his look said WTF but was smart and said it looked beautiful..tomake things worse.. his hair is down almost to his ass and beautiful

You are just too cute! And Skynard is a beautiful friend...isn't he? Look at it this way my friend....your hair will grow back in healthier than ever. Sometimes when hair gets damaged by chemicals and medications there is nothing to do but cut it and let it grow back healthy. I'll bet you look great in your new hair cut! Care to let us see a picture? You know we love you...short hair or long hair. I always kept my hair down to my waist...but mine is very short now.

SacredStarDance replies on 6/2/2006 9:15 pm:
