Let me just say that rather than being sensible and comfortable I decided to look fashionably cute in a pair of heels to see REO Speedwagon and Styx last nite. OH GOD WHY DID I DO THIS???
First off let me say the concert was pretty good. Being that I didn't know most of the that I am only in my 30's. We were 4 rows from the stage...great view and seats. But did I sit down???...No.along with everyone else around me.
We had a mile hike down to the floor which in heels is a feet in itself. God forbid you twist you ankle and go rolling down the rest of the 50 million stairs. Try carrying a bottle of water and a huge cup of beer! And get this..they would NOT give me the lid to my water bottle. Said that its policy because people use them as weapons. Good nite in heaven! I just wanna keep from spilling this $4.00 bottle of water before I get back to my seat to drink it. I wonder how long they sat around to think that rule up. Then....we were asked for our tickets about 8 times during the concert. Lets just say that my husband was a little upset at this point. Now, there were 4 of us sitting together. During the whole concert one or two of us were always in our seats. What the hell is the problem?! We basically haven't moved from our seats and we keep getting questioned for our tickets. Do they just like pissing people off or what. So my husband goes and speaks with the gm of the venue we were at. DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID TO HIM.......!!! "Well sir look what your wearing"... Okay, he had on a black shirt and tan jeans....AND???????? THE THE F@#$%!? Can you say profiling...?
Other than being hounded for our tickets we had a pretty good time. I can asure you that next time...I won't be wearing heels....

SS -

I don't recommend wearing cute shows to walk around in downtown Baltimore, either. LOL

Glad you had a good time at the concert except for the constant ticket showing.

I had no idea that a black shirt and tan pants are apparently some sort of gang colors in the GM's world. (WTF?) I had no idea that troublemakers wore tan jeans.
