Back From El Paso/ Juarez

What an awesome weekend! It's such a retreat for me.
The food was great, all kinds of hustle and bustle. There's so much life going on in a border town.
People down there live with so much less than we do here in the U.S., but they appreciate what they have more. It's such a refreshing attitude,
compared to the attitude of entitlement that is prevalent here.
Some years down the line, if I'm ever ready for a serious relationship, my future companion would have to pass the Juarez Test. If she can get past the poverty and the less than antiseptic standards by which people in Mexico live (Most people in the world live this way.), and see the beauty and visceral energy in it, she'd have the same view of the world that I do. And maybe she would also be the type to appreciate what she/ I have.

No shit bro, most have so much yet are ALWAYs wanting MORE, myself included...Yet I had an Elder once tell me that poverty is no excuse for not respecting your self enough to be CLEAN...She was born, raised, lived and died on the reservation. Don't have to go to Juarez to witness those who have so little, do so much with what they have...Peace...Ready

Ready
