The Food Store and it's quirks

Ok, you know how you go to the grocery store and there are always those "some things."

Some things you are always out of, no matter how often you go. (MORE Diet Coke? I swear I had a 12-pack yesterday!)

Some things you know the store carries, but they never seem to have any. (Why are they always out of my deoderant!)

Some things, you want cause they just taste better (Oreos vs. Generic). (Seriously, who eats generic Oreos!)

Some things you look at in the store and say, "Who came up with this shit and why would you ever need it?" (Glad's snack-sized bags are a perfect example.)

Some things you swear they never sell. (That can of strained prunes for instance.)

Some things you always seem to forget to get (or put on your list).

Some things cost entirely too much for how much it is actually worth. ($10? $10? $10, for THIS!)

Some things you look at (especially in the frozen food section) and say, "Who would ever eat that?"

Some things that never seem to be done (like stocking produce, I swear they do it 24/7 at my store).

Some things you hate going to the cashier with (tampons, condoms, Depends (they're not for me I swear!)).

Some things that take forever to find the price of (Josh, can you go back and find out how much this is? 10 mins. later, still waiting...).

Some things you never seem to know where they put them (Come on, how many f'ing shampoos do we need in one store! I just want mine!).

Toodles!

And some things you didn't plan to buy, had no idea were available, don't need... but buy anyway.

Try keeping food around with mini-me in the house. I swear he eats a box of cereal a day! Do you know how expensive that sugar shit is?

I'm still trying to figure out the purpose of selling SPAM. Is it a food or something you can use for bricklaying?

I came, I conquered, I came again

I didn't know they made Glad snack-sized bags. I keep forgetting light bulbs and I refuse to go back for 1 item.

LOL or always getting in what seems to be the shortest line but it takes the longest!

I swear I have been to the grocery store 4 times in a week lately!

I'll have a cafe, mocha, vodka, valium latte to go please!

Or worse still, you buy the wrong type of light bulbs!! Bayonette when you need screw in or vice-versa.

I'm with you on the diet-coke thing Red ( but you knew that already)

If you are talking about Glad plastic sealable bags, snack size are good to put toddler snacks in (for when you are out and about), but besides that, too bloody small!!
