Holiday shopping hassles!

Labor Day weekend always provides great shopping opportunities (no I am not a chick!), with all the sales that the stores have for the weekend. With it being the end of summer, stores look to get rid of the summer seasonal items and prepare for dare I say...Christmas! *side-note: I have seen one store already putting up a Christmas display*

Most of the stores have the same type of items on sale, so you have to go store to store trying to make sure they have the one that you want and also get the lowest price. It never fails, no matter how many stores you visit, just after you buy one, you are in a different store for different things and see the same thing you got much cheaper than you paid! It's Murphy's Law run amok!

I just happened to buy a brand new grill yesterday after much deliberation on the purchase. I finally got it home and cooked a great dinner on it, and had to run to the store to grab a few things that my sons needed. I also went to go buy a brush for said grill, and what did I see? A bigger, better grill for about $150 cheaper! UGH!

Anyway, that's the world according to me Tuesday Sept 5, 2006 10:26am CDT

Why shopping is fun for me Walmart alone makes me feel like I'm in a candy store.

I am a typical guy when it comes to shopping, I get in, get what I need and get out!
