Weird as hell!

Well, it's the first time here, so I'm not too sure how it'll go.

I've just been out in the snow clearing the front of the house. That's one of the disadvantages of having a BIG home. Anyway, the snow-blower makes short work of it.

After having rained for what seemed an eternity, it suddenly started snowing again. Not to cold, just right, at about -3 C.

Had a good evening last night, sadly no female company, with a good friend of mine. We had a few bottles of wine from my cellar. I'm a bit out of practice, so we only had a few. First, a bottle of champagne (A.Jacquart et fils, 1999 Blanc de blancs. A bottle of Santa Ines, Carménère from Chile worked up an appetite. After that is was time for something to eat, so I rustled up entrecôte and roasted veggies. A 1992 bottle Leeuwin Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River, WA, went down nicely thank you.

We were on a roll, so another raid in the cellar produced a 1997 Bussia Barolo from Fenocchio, Italy.

Sadly, we both ran out of steam, only 4 bottles, but some great quality.

Now, you mustn't think I'm a bit of an alki, because I rarely drink. But, I do have a soft spot for wine and good food.

No sex at all, mind you that's been the story of my life the last ten years or so. Hardly surprising when the weren't any females present.

Tomorrow, a new day with new possibilities!

University in the daytime (nursing) and again in the evening (Italian). Italian is great fun, I just started after years of promising myself to start. I hope to go to Italy in the summer, it's been 27 years since I was last there!

Have a great day everyone and I hope you enjoy your week!
