Express, don't impress

I find chat really interesting to observe..seeing what people say to try and get attention for one reason or another. The guys that yammer on about their '74incher on cam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' clearly don't have a clue as mostly it's other guys that end up watching them. It's all pretty gay.

Whatever anyone says to try and impress someone is pointless as it means you always have to operate at that level so they don't get disappointed; might as well just be yourself from the getgo. Worrying about making a good impression is a sign of insecurity - I reckon most people know within seconds if they like you or not and how they decide that is nothing anyone else can control. Animals do just fine and they don't worry about how they come across so people should take a leaf out of their book.

If you don't give a fuck what anyone thinks of you, you'll feel a lot better as the ones that do gravitate to you will be the ones you really want and therefore the ones that will stick around. That's the way it should be

I think it is important to make a good impression. It's, like you say, the worrying about it that makes you come off like a jackass. It's better to be quiet and thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.

'The secret of attraction is to love yourself. Attractive people judge neither themselves nor others. They are open to gestures of love. They think about love, and express their love in every action. They know that love is not a mere sentiment, but the ultimate truth at the heart of the universe' Deepak Chopra
