10 days left until good ol' Christmas Eve... It comes faster and faster every year. I think part of it is that everyone has to be sooooo PC over the "holiday season" that nobody really bothers to say anything to you over fear of offend. It used to be once upon a time you would be at a store/restaurant/anywhere really and people would say "Merry Christmas" to a person. When that was no longger deemed approprate, "Happy Holidays" would still work. Not even those obnoxious bell ringers for the red bucket won't say anything of the sort. You're lucky if you get a thank you. Now I'm off to wrap up presents for some "dood little boys and girls" I still love this time of year even when others dont!

I agree completely. Our society is so worried about offending someone by not including them. Yes, we are the great melting pot of the world, but it is our tradition after all isn't it? They came here out of choice, did't they? Just like the rest of our families way back when. When you go to another country, don't you expect to honor thier traditions, if even simply out of respect for your host?

Well, I wish you a vey Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! Have you been naughty or nice this year?...
