Her favorite movies

Song of the day: Sharp Dressed man-ZZ Top

Hey what are some of the movies/shows that have influenced your life, or made a part of your everyday life? What shows do you quote from a lot, or like a good friend put it on when you need a lift?

Here are ours, so grab your popcorn and a beverage, and enjoy the show. I even got the woman to participate, will try and get her more into this!

Wifey’s Top Ten Movie/Show list

1-Pretty woman- loves a fairy tale, and Richard Gere & Julia make it work
2-Dances with wolves- gives the other side of the story with Indians (she is ¼ Cherokee)
3-Titanic- She likes the history of Titanic
4-Dirty dancing- Swayze moving his ass
5-Big- first date we went on we saw this
6-Con Air- likes the action, Nick Cage being a good man, and in those pants!
7-Star wars- Just likes it
8-The Rock- Nick Cage and Sean Connery, is there a story to the film?
9-You’ve got mail- Tom Hanks is funny and sexy
10-Runaway Bride- Something about Richard Gere and Julia

His favorite movies:

#1 Star Wars all six, originals of course better
#2 Star Trek all franchise, but TOS rules
#3 M*A*S*H TV serious especially in the later years dream sequence one is favorite
#4 Monty Python and the holy Grail ‒Black Knight is invincible!
#5 Babylon Five, five year story arc excellent writing and acting
#6 21 Jump Street, just too cool, died when J. Depp left
#7 Twilight Zone- brilliant Serling is never given enough credit for this creation
#8 NYPD Blue- full of clichés, and story always ended neatly, but still liked it
#9 White Fang- Like dog stories, fantastic scenery
#10 Law & Order, was great show before 20 spin offs, back in the days of Michael Moriarty, Jerry Orbach and Chris Noth, they really made the show work, half police, half lawyer, all good

Don’t be shy tell us your favorites!

Actually I jsut wanted to post the pic of the pop corn girl

Oh yeah, I forgot Rocky.

And the popcorn girl! HooHa!

AND there's nothing wrong with TV, it was just an observation.

I haven't seen a movie in a while.
I heard they're filming them in color now.

I do like the Andy Griffith show.

My favorite movies, I'm going to try and keep a shorter list than redmustang91!
The Princess Bride - Not everything in life is fair.
The Notebook - We are the choices we make, follow your heart.
City Slickers - Being recently divorced, I like the advice Billy gives his friend about "do overs" and have given it to a few people I've met on here going through a divorce.
Top Gun - Shit happens, even when things are going great. Let yourself mope and get it out of your system, then get off your ass and shoot a couple of migs from the sky!

IDsmile-We own the "man with no name" "Joe Nobody" triligy, great westerns!

Bear-Yeah we even own gone with the wind. Got into a big discussion with our son, he asked if "black people" are that "dumb." Took forever to explain about how the white plantation owners saw "black" people. Trying to justify slavery that they needed our "help."

JAYR- You are too much, haha Andy Griffith, sing " let's go down to the fishin hole." Opie has directed some excellent films himself. You must like life black and white

Hi Cele2Flowers, thanks for the list, and the get off your ass observation, I need to do that more myself .

Anytime, Philosophy_N_Sex!
It was fun coming up with this list! Funny thing is, these are just MY favorites (me, being the female half)... I can't imagine how long the list would be if my boyfriend started naming off his! (Probably best that he didn't... my list was already WAY too long!) Kisses
