Interesting Times.

I was going down the street past my house the other day, and saw a pretty bad car wreck involving some kid form the local highschool, whole mass of 13-15 year olds standing around looking. I lived not to far away from the place so I drove the rest of the way home and phoned the police, since i had no cell phone and none of the kids didn't look like any of them were dialing anything.

The wreck looked pretty bad, the car was on it's side in a deep deep ditch, drivers side poiting up towards the sky. Wheel still spinning in the back.. not a pretty site.

Also yesterday, a mass refurnishing of previous car crash death sites.

Along the road on several sharp turns, newly placed Flowral tombstones, flowers and ribbens were replaceing the old decaying ones. Every site were a person had crashed and died from it, was filled with offerings of respect and peace for the departed.

I had counted a total of 8 locations all within 15 minuts of my house and after seeing that car wreak yesterday..

Either alot of stupid kids that should take driving alot more seriously or... wait.. nah thats pretty much it.

Each site has been of a teenager between the ages of 15-18 and each story the same...

"he was racing another teen"..... "he was speeding down the corner and took the turn to fast"...

I'm sorry.. when you live in an area for all your life.. and are 17... you've drivin down all the small town local roads and go 90 down a road you know has a sharp turn...

your just asking for it.

See, if they allowed Darwin to be taught in Kansas, you would know this is all part of natural selection. The incredibly stupid are removing themselves from the gene pool.

Here in NJ, on I-78, there's a memorial to a state trooper who was mowed down while he was standing in the road, instead of on the shoulder during a traffic stop. At night. His own stupidity got him killed, you don't stand in the lane of a highway, unless that lane is closed. Especially since the flashing lights will cut down on visibility for drivers. Of course, the person who didn't see him until too late was tried and convicted of vehicular manslaugher.
