Too horny to write

Ok, Ok....
I know what you are thinking... or at least what you may be thinking:

"If you’re too horny to write then what the heck is this?"
OR

You may be thinking:

"OK, you got my attention, what do you want to say this time?"

And it may trail off to something like:

"So when are you going to get to the good stuff? If you’re too horny to write and your writing about it I would at least like to get to the meat of the matter!"

Or what you are thinking about may trail off to something like:

"Ok so now you are saying allot of NOTHING... will you get on with it??"

--------

Well here it is; today I was sitting at a coffee shop downtown looking at people absorbed is their individual lives, reading the news paper, chatting idly, listening to their mp3 while studying or absorbed with people watching thru the windows that stand on Saint-Catherines.

This is how I do it, how I get the inspiration for my poetry, for my short stories; I watch people and compose.
Now most of my poems are written from a sensualist's point of view, taken from deep within met, I let it flow and then I see what was produced.

Today I was sitting with a coffee and I was looking at people come in and out to get their morning coffee and occasionally a pastery or a piece of cake.

At a booth a couple of tables from me was a woman who was reading the newspaper and drinking what looked like a cappuccino or it could have been a hot chocolate but she caught my attention,; I am not sure how and I not sure what it is in her that gave me the inspiration. It could have been the way her collar had been wet by the rain or the way she was occasionally wiping stray drops from her forehead but I took out my book, took an italic pen and started writing.

Now despite what you may be thinking, most of the time I do not write about the person/people who had inspired me and this time was not an exception but, to write I did and it was an erotic poem that flowed to paper.

I had to pause a couple of times simply to get my bearings because the campers were razing the tent.

God erotic poems are fun to write but what a burden they leave. LOL

Do you write poetry? Did you ever experience something similar?

Out of what is now 206 entries to my blog ... 200 of them are probably poetry ... I've probably written 150 of them since February ... almost all of them are "erotic" in nature ... I think I just think about sex too much ... !

I have mediums that I have to work with ... a certain pencil, a particular type of notebook ... I've received an amazing amount of inspiration alone from just the blogs on this site ... amazing inspiration here ... so I've expanded that "medium" to a "comment block" ... which becomes a draft until I clean it up!

I've pulled off the road on the way to work to write something ... I wake in the middle of night to write ... close the door to my office when something comes to mind so I can "flow" with it ...

I can't write unless I get excited about what I'm writing about ... so it would seem I'm in a perpetual state of "erotic awareness" ... it's a terrible, terrible curse ... !
