Stuck in the NORTHWOODS with a DUD

Just recently got back from a vacation in the UP with a friend. Oh my god, spending the time i did with this fellow really made me do a double take. What a bore!
Did you ever met one of those people that are a lot of fun when you are all hanging out with friends.....Then you get them alone and they have absoultly no personality of their own, and it feels like they are sucking yours dry?
What a week! Totally boring! And by the end of the week I couldnt even think about having sex with the guy! Dont get me wrong I can understand that people can be shy, so I make the first move......and usually end up falling asleep from boredom. Isnt that sad....
We were friends for like 2 months...and at first had a really good time togather....
Then in the last couple of weeks something totally turned me off about him....and just being alone with him made me want to run the other way....IS it just i broken?
Any who i dont think i will be seeing much of this guy anymore...even in a friend situation...because he doesnt have any qualitys that make you want to be around him...
I guess it was fun while it lasted, and Im glad to be home, and away from him.

Nope, you're not broken at all. People change for all different reasons. Some are easy to understand and pick up on and some others, wel... it'll be one of life's greatest mysteries. Right up there with how many licks does it take to get to the middle of a tootsie pop. LOL

I've had it go both ways though. Have a friend, get along GREAT! Things are moving along nicely and WHAM-O! Hit the breaks and things go flying everywhere only to end up totally confused and wondering what the hell went wrong. Normally in those situations there's something else going on in the head of the other person I had no idea about.

Sometimes though I've found myself alone with a person I had NO INTEREST IN AT ALL and something makes a clicking sound in my head and to my amazement we have a blast together. Always shocks the living poop outta me when that happens. Unfortunately these are nearly always short-lived encounters and rarely last for more than a few weeks.

So to recap...
1. No you aren't broken
2. His loss for being such a putz.
3. It will happen again but don't take it personally and just move on
4. Live for the moment and you'll have your fun. (wink)
