a harrowing discovery

they havent found him. he’s there. beneath the waves. of course, you cant see anything save the sky, which looks fractured and wild but seldom is.

somewhere on a winding road receding into emptiness. berryessa or coastal 101. my shadow a wave drawing back into the sea in one final sweeping gesture of sun and sand. discovery denied. nothing to see. alone. the sensation of wind. some ghostly hand or unseen wave of hair thrown against me, the rocks wet with it, the sky orange and confused. she. when the waves are west past mountains and people, long stretches of autumn roads, autumn down down, into the great dark sea. beneath the birch leaves green and burnt in the cool evening. june, it’s left us. july, docked and withered. september reigns.

the infinite what if hunkers down somewhere overhead. the last laugh an echo reverberating endlessly overhead. god, you poet. this curse of words.

confined beneath airplane wings and phone calls. the words must be easy, cheap. living on strategies. unaware. working at the edge of reason, wonderously ugly.

pull it down against you. reflecting cloudless backdrop to dramatic departure. tearful monologue of narrated self. leaves of one withered many. listlessly, endlessly.

a girl
undone by many selves

A veery thought provocation poet you must be. To wonder what the words will bring to light the forwarding of your imagination. So it is this way for my own personal knowledge kind of brilliant. sort of artsie, pretty deep
