I'm think I'm going to kill my dog...

There's nothing like starting the morning by having to drag a 75 pound boxer 1/4 mile through the neighborhood by the choke collar. At 6:15 AM. My usual less than a minute take-the-dog-out-to-do-his-thing routine went horribly awry this morning. Now Jack is just about the perfect dog. He goes out, does his thing and comes right back in. He even knows to take his dumps in the common area so I don't step in it when I mow the grass. He's really trained well and does this without a problem all the time. Not today...

So I let him out first thing this morning and it's the same thing...except for God only knows what reason he decided not to come back after taking care of business. I walk towards him and call and he won't come. Now I'm pissed. I'm not the total ball of joy first thing in the morning anyway and this shit takes me from 0 to pissed off in 2 seconds flat. As I walk towards him he bolts.

Fuck.

I catch up to him about a quarter mile from the house. Luckily for me he found another dog inside a house and was at these people's front door looking at it through the side door windows. Jack knew he was in deep shit. I grabbed him by the collar and he decides not to play along and walk with me. It's probably a good thing I didn't go out armed today. That stupid dog made me drag him all the way back to the house. Now for me getting dragged by a choke collar would straighten my shit up most rickey-tick but apparently my stupid dog thrives on this shit. He gags himself all the way back and let me tell you...walking hunched over dragging a heavy dumb dog right after you get up comes in right with going to the dentist for a root canal in the fun department.

Jack's ass is in the garage for the day. It's not the way I wanted to start out this morning...

Gah.

last night he took a wiz on my daughters coloring book

the other day he decided to spray my wall and new carpet with his odor

how do i explain to this cat that i loved a week ago he is in real danger of being strategically placed under my car tires ?

Awwww..he just wanted to explore and he has no wristwatch to time his morning poos!!!! Let him slide this one time, but, after that if he acts a fool again...chain him up in the backyard for awhile....he will get the hint "most ricky-tick!"

I feel for ya there....we have 5 dogs in this house(ranging from 5lbs to 250lbs) and as of lately they all seem to have lost their brains. I don't know, i was beginning to wonder if it was in the water, but it looks like i am not the only one going thru this

The biggest one left many nice presents for me this morning...no once but 3times...then decided he was hungry so helped himself to the dog food bag(which was scattered all over the floor by the time i got up). One of my other ones had an incident with a girl who came up behind him and scarred him...now he might have to be put down cause of what he did even though it wasn't his fault.

I feel for ya...and wish the boxer all the luck in the world...hmmm maybe that other dog is his girlfriend and wants a little morning wake up
