A quick little post with an action shot from the weekend.

Snotting along in 35 knots of breeze - hanging on for dear life!

Hull speed, around 30 knots - the rescue boat with a 80hp outboard couldn't keep up!

Oh and the little white thing beneath the middle of the boat is the centre board, ie. there was only a few inches of hull left in the water!

If I wanted to go crusing with a boyfriend (no one in particular yet) would this be the type of boat I should use?

These are action packed, high performance skiffs. Real on the edge stuff and not for the faint hearted!

If you visit and go to the movies page and click on teh 'stagecoach 2' movie you will real get an idea of what demons these things are to sail!

For "cruising" you would need to try something like a sunburst if you only wanted a dingy or one of the different types of trailer yachts.

Let me know if you want a hand to look for something
