Everyone has a story

When I first joined AdultFriendFinder a few years ago I wasn't sure how my life would change. As a matter of fact in some capacities since the day I joined I can't quite look at people the same way.

You see, I wasn't even aware such a lifestyle exsisted. I mean, it sounded pretty foreign to me that people would do that sort of thing. But when I got that nifty piece of spam mail I checked it out, saw what was about and well as they say the rest is history and here I am.

I should note though that it isn't a bad thing that I can't look at people the same. You see, I like people .. in fact I love people. I like knowing the stories behind people because the backstories are usually quite interesting. But now since I have been here on AdultFriendFinder for awhile, when I look at people I think "what are they into? what do they like?" or even if I visit my doctor I wonder if my beloved doctor swings as well. Also, what about that fireman? what about the cab driver I had a few months back? My Grade 11 Science teacher?

It's a interesting world that I live in now to say the least!

Let's put some identity to these people hereon AdultFriendFinder! So if I can ask, for those who do read .. may I ask what your profession is? Be discreet if you like!

I'd love to tell you what my job is, but I'm afraid I'd have to kill you. LOL

The best I can do is to tell you that I work at a conservative, button-down sort of job. My daily "uniforms" consist of suits, twinsets and glasses--definitely the librarian look.

No one knows or has seen the "real" me outside of work, so it's actually kind of fun.

I feel like Clark Kent. LOL

DCEbony: Well, if I saw your pretty smile before you killed me I could die a happy man!

Anyways .. that's okay you don't want to divulge because I respect the discression some people would have. But I think through the cryptic message I believe I know what you do (and aren't I a smart boy? no decoder ring here!!).

That's the beauty of here .. no one knows about the "real" us (or in this case YOU) because annonymity can be fun. It's good to have a place like here where you can go and just "be" (if this makes any sense at all).

You're way more attractive than Clark Kent hun! *LOL*

Well, you already know LOL but for the benefit of others... I work in a social service organization, helping people find jobs, and the resources to help them keep those jobs.

Hey NJS,
I like your handle as it's kind of memorable.
In regards to wondering about what people "do", do you mean what do they do to make an income, or what it is they use the income for? I have always looked at my job as purely a source of revenue to pursue the things that truely are me. George Carlin once said that he worked to live as opposed to the other way around. Leonard Cohen said that he wanted to be paid for his work, but he didn't want to work to be paid. Good lines, don't you think? Being on this site for a short while, I must admit to being more than a little intrigued about the
external vs. internal forces that so many people obviuosly carry around with them.
