Half way over after "hump" day...

WARNING-
I am crabby today... so if you don't want to hear about a crabby bitchy nurses day- just move on to a more cheerful happy blog!

I don't really know what it is or why I am crabby, I just am! I hate feeling like this.

Slept in, shouldn't have. Was up too late last night. Nothing bad happened, but I didn't seem to have my normal happy go lucky personality today. I still joked, but underneath it all- it was a struggle. A few little blips in the day, nothing major, but blips none the less.... enough to annoy me. My diet sucks, need to plan better for tomorrow since I am not meeting the goal like I want to. Had a very nice conversation with the ex, we are getting along fabulously- which is awesome and makes life much simpler. Seems like we both have had a lot of misfortune since the divorce was initiated so I am looking forward to 2006 and the hope of a new year.

I guess one of the things that is really bumming me out is my work schedule right now.

I work every single day until I leave for my trip to Cabos, with two double shifts scheduled during that time. Plus, I work on New Years eve night until 11pm- so I can't really do anything, despite several nice offers. I work a double shift on the 31st. At least I have a fun night out planned with some of my girl friends tomorrow night- This is a standing date night-"Girls Night Out" with them...

I am going to bed. Up at 4:30 for a hot date with my elliptical trainer.

Tomorrow will be a better day...

you know about the diet, your doing it right with the workout - most people just starve themselves and think that will work. i do a little work to help fight obesity in kids. it's great to see the progress, but personally in the last 5 months i've lost 35 pounds (practice what you preach) and hope to lose another 25 by May. It's been hard work, but sometimes you need someone to motivate you. It doesn't sound like your work schedule helps so i'll bet you are doing a great job staying true to your plan, it's just the hours are screwing you up.

have fun in Cabo

Crabby?! I should be the one crabby. I don't have a fun trip planned for Cabo comming up. I don't even have plans for tomorrow night. "sigh" Oh well, I suppose I should use the time to finish that story shouldn't I?

Curious, if you finish that story tomorrow I am sure you'll be rewarded in heaven some day!! Can't wait to hear the end of it. Very curious about Curious and his imagination!
