Dang the luck anyway!!

Going to have to go on two trips in the next few days. They are turna rounds and will be at the dock for less than an hour between them.
Both take about 3 days to complete. Not bad. Nothing out of the ordinary with the exception of one little thing.

My daughter is going to be very busy with her military stuff and will be dropping off Our grandson tomorrow to spend a week or two with us. Guess who won't be there to enjoy his company. I don't get any more sneak off to the house, time until the 14th.

How the heck am I supposed to spoil him rotten, teach him all those bad things he needs to know and show him how to drive his parents crazy when he gets older if I won't be around?

I seem to remember a whole hell of a lot of things his mother did when she was growing up that she needs repayment for. lol

Hey at four months he can't learn very many bad things lol

Soon as he is old enough though, this old man will start teaching him manners and respect for others. Especially for his parents. I am a stickler about that.
Mine were always told that they might get away with saying something out of line to me, but if they did that to their mother or grandmother, I was coming down on them like a ton of bricks.

They are all grown now, but still will not dare show any disrespect to those ladies.

Love em while you can because they grow up and go away far to fast for my likings.

When my sister and I were little (she's a few years younger), we went to visit my mother's great aunt. She was like 187, I think. Anyway, my mother told us that if we were bad, the old geezer-babe would take and cook us and eat us.

I remember the smell of savory country sausage meat and ya know, I've missed my sister ever since. Obviously, I was never bad and garnered many favors from the old broad. She did finally pass on at 246. Yeah, well... we all gotta go sometime - bad little sisters, just that much sooner... and deservedly so! *ROTFLMAO*

It does appear that folks live a long time on your family. Tis a shame your dear old Aunt passed away at such a tender age and did not live to be as old as you. lol
I guess though that it is far better to eat some females.
